Sometimes the best way to do that is to give those offensive linemen playing time at the varsity level early in their careers. Today we will take a look at two offensive linemen that are doing just that in their freshman seasons. Both are gaining valuable experience and both show an immense amount of potential.

He has made appearances in three varsity games this season. Sipes has recovered one fumble so far this year. He is gaining valuable experience this year. Brayden Sipes Brayden Sipes OL Zionsville | 2025 State IN has a lot of upside. I can see Sipes learning throughout the course of this season and being a top-tier offensive lineman in the years ahead.

John Ranes John Ranes 6'3" | 245 lbs | OL New Palestine | 2025 State IN shows the potential to be a dominant force on both sides of the ball. On top of being a fantastic offensive lineman, Ranes excels at defensive end for Delta. Ranes has the size and reach needed for a dependable and athletic offensive lineman. He will be able to move around and execute a wide-variety of blocks. But when needed to be a sturdy pass protector, Ranes can certainly get the job done. So far this season, at defensive end, Ranes has recorded seven solo tackles and 18 total tackles. Crucially, three of those tackles have been for loss. Ranes has defended against two passes and he has recovered one fumble.
