BISHOP McNAMARA
Offense:
2022 5’11 190 QB – Jordan Adams Jordan Adams 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Frederick Douglass | 2021 MD
Jordan Adams Jordan Adams 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Frederick Douglass | 2021 MD has incredible awareness and vision in the pocket. He always seems to scramble at the right moments to avoid pressure and to create more time for his receivers to get open and make a play. Adams is also a dual threat quarterback who can hurt teams with his legs in key situations. Tonight’s game against St. Mary’s Ryken is a huge opportunity for this Mustang team to establish themselves in the WCAC, and, as their leader, Jordan Adams Jordan Adams 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Frederick Douglass | 2021 MD will most certainly want to play his best game of the season. Scouts everywhere should have their eyes on #11 because Jordan Adams Jordan Adams 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Frederick Douglass | 2021 MD will more than likely have a breakout game this evening.
2023 6’3 180 WR – Austin Palmer
Austin Palmer is off to a scorching hot start to the season, and the reason is because of his connection with Mustang quarterback Jordan Adams Jordan Adams 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Frederick Douglass | 2021 MD . This dynamic tandem has already connected for two touchdowns and almost two hundred yards so far this season, and the two have no plans of slowing down any time soon. Palmer’s size and speed are often too much for defensive backs at this level to handle, therefore St. Mary’s Ryken will need to matchup their top players in the secondary with him if they want to keep the game competitive. Watch out for Austin Palmer to have a huge game tonight regardless of who is covering him.
Defense:
2022 5’11 210 LB – Brock Butler
Brock Butler is one of the most intelligent linebackers in the entire state. He reads plays before they happen, and it usually seems like he knew where the ball was going even before the opposing quarterback. Butler has no issue shaking off contact from imposing offensive linemen in order to breach the backfield and make a big play. He can also seamlessly drop back into coverage and make big plays in the secondary. The sky’s the limit for Brock Butler and there’s no question that he’s going to prove that with yet another stellar performance tonight against St. Mary’s Ryken. Brock Butler has massive D1 potential.
2023 6’3 265 DL – Chris Forbes
If you’re looking for a premier edge rusher with size and quickness then look no further than Chris Forbes. Forbes is an elite pass rusher who is a mismatch for almost any offensive lineman at the high school level. He gives maximum effort on every single play, and there’s no question that he will be a leader on defense tonight for the Mustangs. St. Mary Ryken’s quarterback must always spot out Forbes before the snap if he wants to avoid the biggest threat to a Knights’ turnover. Chris Forbes is for sure primed for a big game tonight.
