Jd Serwatka – Brunswick – WR/FS – 6’3″ 190 lbs
Serwatka is a big possession WR who they like to use in the RedZone. They like to throw him fades in the corner of the endzone and have him come down with the ball. It works more often than not and they trust him in trick plays. He was on the receiving end of a trick play where it was designed just to give him a shot to go up and get it 50-yards down the field. It was a toss play to the RB where he uncorked it for Serwatka. He went up, made the catch, and brought them down to the 3-yard line where they later scored. Anytime Brunswick looks to throw they look to Jd first.
Marshawn Taylor – Brush – RB – 5’9″ 160 lbs
Taylor is a very light back but it’s okay because he has elite speed. He can reach that top speed in a flash and he gets the corner just about every play. If you start to play the flat defender he’s more than capable of taking it into the A/B gaps. He has very light feet and you can tell he spends a ton of time working the ladders. He’s dynamic and explosive and a ton of fun to watch. He was all over the field on Friday and found the endzone a few times on a way to a stellar performance.
Aidan Fischer – Southeast – QB – 6’3″ 190 lbs
Fischer was fantastic on Friday and put on a show using both his arm and his legs. He’s a real threat to run so he keeps defenses honest and can pull it and run anytime he wants to. He found the endzone on a read-option early in the game. Later in the game, he showed off how strong his arm is. He let one rip and it was on a frozen rope into the endzone for an easy score. It was a special throw that not a lot of people can make.
Kentrell Marks Kentrell Marks 6'1" | 185 lbs | RB Valley Forge | 2022 State OH – Valley Forge – RB/WR – 6’1″ 190 lbs
Marks showed Friday that he is dynamic and explosive on Friday. He’s a great athlete and is able to make anyone miss if he’s given the chance. He’s great in space and has great small area movement and then has the speed to turn the corner. He was in the endzone late on Friday’s game and it helped ignite Valley Forge’s offense. I’ll be watching him again next week just to see if he can do it again because that was a fantastic performance.
Kaymen Marshall – Buckeye – WR/SS – 5’8″ 147 lbs
Marshall played both ways for the Buckeye Bucks on Friday and even made an impact on special teams. Offensively, he was the first read and was reliable when the ball came his way. He made guys miss and he was able to break a few tackles as well. He took a kick-off return and split the defense while racing down to the 10-yard line. He didn’t find the endzone but finished the evening with just under 200 total yards.
