It was all Clay-Chalkville Friday night in Gardendale. The Cougars came into Driver Stadium and left with a 46-0 win in dominating fashion. Clay-Chalkville’s explosive offense was on full display as QB Khalib Johnson Khalib Johnson 6'2" | QB Clay-Chalkville | 2022 State AL , RB Edward Osley, and WR Jaylen Mbakwe Jaylen Mbakwe 5'11" | DB Clay-Chalkville | 2024 AL had huge performances for the Cougars.

Clay-Chalkville - This game was a dominant offensive and defensive performance. Louisville QB commit Khalib Johnson Khalib Johnson 6'2" | QB Clay-Chalkville | 2022 State AL was very effective in the passing game, completing 10 of 17 passes for 177 yards and 2 touchdowns. RB Edward Osley continued his impressive season and was the workhorse in this game. Osley had 25 carries, 136 yards, and two touchdowns on the night. I continue to think he’s one of the most underrated players in 6A. WR Jaylen Mbakwe Jaylen Mbakwe 5'11" | DB Clay-Chalkville | 2024 AL notched several explosive plays, recording 3 receptions for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns. Mbakwe is a name to watch in the class of 2024. I think he will be one of the state’s best players in his class. LB DJ Barber led the defense in a shutout performance. Barber recorded 7.5 tackles, 2 TFL, and one sack. The Cougars defense was flying to the football all game long. The
