1) Keyandre Stand RB (Sr.)
Averaged 11 yards a carry in week 3, and got the only TD against the undefeated bruins in week 4. Strand is a powerhouse and a task to try and tackle, at this point every team that plays John Hardin knows that they are going to run most the game and still have trouble stopping him. More than Half of the Bulldogs offensive production comes from Keyandre, he mostly shined against the in-town rivals Elizabethtown Panthers in week 3. Ending that game with a whopping 259 yards and this is the 3rd game he has went above 200 yards this season, and right now is sitting at a season total of around 800 to 850 rushing yards across 4 games., no doubt more to come from Keyandre.
2) Kevin McCroskey ILB (So.)
Kevin has great block shedding and will find his way to the ball carrier, constantly leading or coming very close to leading his team in tackles, while also snagging some fumbles through the season. Totaling 21 tackles across week 3 and 4, the first home games for John Hardin, leading the team in the category and had multiple sacks each game as well. McCroskey is also a decent sized body, with a good amount of speed, a true athlete and constant top performer win or lose for the Bulldogs.
3) Bennett Solomon OLB (Jr.)
Bennett is another great ball hawk and always make his way to the play, totaling 20 tackles and 3 sacks across the 2 week home stand. Solomon has similar skills to McCroskey and they play off each other perfectly, one thing that stands out for Solomon is his outside run defense, he had 7 TFL over the 2 games and most of the TFLs were from outside runs and screens that had been sniffed out early, great awareness and tackling presence in the middle.
4) Tre Brown Tre Brown 6'0" | 220 lbs | DL John Hardin Highschool | 2022 KY RB (Sr.)
Tre was the player who would punch in goal-line runs or convert those gritty 3rd and shorts. A big runner who invites contact and usually takes more than 1 defender to stop him. On defense he causes fumbles and delivers clutch stops, Brown is excellent at what he does and has a lot of potential as he is only getting better and more versatile by the week. Tre Brown Tre Brown 6'0" | 220 lbs | DL John Hardin Highschool | 2022 KY does not have the craziest stats but his playstyle is effective and helps his team in their multiple run sets they rely on for there offense, and comes through as big hitter on defense.
5) Kendal Brice DE (Sr.)
Kendal is the 3rd defensive powerhouse for John, as he is not as quick to the ball, he is problem on defense. Brice is a 6’5 DE and plays the part very well, has a ton of potential and is already performing solid. Kendall Brice was the reason for a lot of negative yards, using his 245 pound frame to his advantage, was active every quarter playing every drive on full energy, exceptional player.
