Below take a look at the top offensive performers in the Garden State.
RB Gage Moskovitz, Jr., Vernon High School
Mr. Moskovitz was arguably the best player in the state last Friday night. He rushed for a career- high 311 yards on 31 carriers and 4 touchdowns. He took advantage of the tremendous blocking by his offensive linemen who opened up huge holes for him. Moskovitz has great vision and first step quickness which allowed him to have his best career game. Expect Moskovitz to continue his success as his stock quickly rises for the college coaches.
QB Dominick Verducci Dominick Verducci 5'11" | RB Parsippany Hills | 2022 NJ , Sr., Parsippany High School
Mr. Verducci was a superstar Friday night. Senior Quarterback had an efficient day both through the air and on the ground. He passed for 19-27 207 yards and 17 carries for 160 yards and 6 touchdowns in the win versus Morris Hills. Verducci is a versatile and explosive athlete who is a threat on opposing teams. Moving forward, it will be diffcult for teams to slow down Verducci. He is loaded with confidence after this week’s performance.
RB Mekhi Gibson, Sr., Wilingboro High School
Mr. Gibson had a great day Friday night, he showed some wiggle and elusiveness finishing the game with 3 touchdowns , 185 yards on 9 carries. Gibson has quick feet and great first step quickness, His ability to change direction and get up field s very impressive. He is a versatile athlete who can play multiple positions such as quarterback and slot receiver. Gibson currently does not have any offers but expect that to change as we move forward in the season.
RB Aly Marzouk Aly Marzouk RB Seacaucus | 2023 NJ , Jr., Secaucus High School
Mr. Marzouk had a great debut to start the season. Marzouk is capable of doing many different things on the field such as return specialist and slot receiver. He is a precise route runner with soft hands as well as his hard nosed running ability. Marzouk finished the game with 256 yards rushing on 18 carries and 4 touchdowns. Also, 3 receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown. With that being said, Marzouk is one of the best players on the field with plenty of experience on the varsity level. He will look to build of this amazing performance this week.
RB Isaiah Barnes, Sr., Nottingham High School
Mr. Barnes has been one of the most consistent players in the Garden State so far this year. He has made plays in all phases of the game. Last week against West Windsor- Plainsboro he finished the game with 109 yards rushing on 12 carries and 1 touchdown along with an 80 yard punt return for a touchdown. Barnes is a versatile athlete who is quickly proving he deserves to play at the next level. Barnes is a fan favorite who is a very exciting player to watch. He is capable of breaking for a long run at any given time. He is quick and sudden in and out of breaks and reacts quickly. Keep an eye out for Barnes as we progress through the season.
