Gabarri Johnson Gabarri Johnson 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Lincoln | 2023 State WA , QB, Lincoln ’23
Johnson absolutely went off Friday night. He threw for 373 yards and 4 TD’s, while adding another 198 yards and 3 TD’s on the ground, proving that he is one of the best dual-threat QB’s in the west coast. Raw athletic ability as he is equally as dangerous through the air or on the ground. He flashed excellent arm strength and touch to stretch the field vertically, which included an effortless 50 yard fade for six. He displayed solid top end speed as ball carrier with excellent COD as he made an opponent look silly in the open field.
Dylan Carson Dylan Carson 6'0" | 195 lbs | RB Marysville-Pilchuck | 2022 State WA , RB, Marysville-Pilchuk ’22
Carson had a huge game as he rushed for around 315 yards and 5 TD’s. He flashed a nice hurdle over an opponent going low and proceeded to take it 55 yards to the house. He hit the hole with a purpose and brought a good low pad level and physicality between the tackles. Deceptive speed in space as he was able to finish those long runs, flashing solid big play ability all night. Overall an impressive and productive night for Carson.
Khaleel Robinson Khaleel Robinson 5'10" | 170 lbs | ATH Lincoln | 2022 State WA , ATH, Lincoln ’22
Robinson was a big part of Johnson’s success as well, as he racked up 7 receptions for 234 yards and 4 TD’s, identifying himself as a legit big play receiver. As an X/Z, he flashed excellent bend off the LOS to generate a clean release off of press. Solid top end speed to take the top off the defense, and he also did a great job knowing when to get his head around and control his body on hole shots. He showed a good understanding of levels during the scramble to work deep. Huge night for Robinson as he could see a rise in his stock soon if he continues along the same trajectory.
River Lien, QB, Glacier Peak ’23
Lien threw for 361 yards and 6 TD’s to help Glacier Peak secure a W over Monroe. He did a good job escaping pressure a few times to extend plays and find receivers downfield. Solid arm strength as he showed the ability to hit intermediate and out routes with good velocity. He had a few tight window throws and completely diced up the Monroe defense.
Trent Nobach Trent Nobach 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Arlington | 2022 State WA , QB, Arlington ’22
Nobach opened up his senior season by throwing for 251 yards and 6 TD’s on a blowout win over Oak Harbor. He showed the ability to manipulate DB’s with his eyes, especially on of his TD’s that came on a 25 yard fade as he completely shifted and froze the FS. Extremely undervalued QB as he showed the ability to hit throws with timing, both touch or velocity, and deliver throws on the move and off platform. Definitely a sleeper 2022 QB to keep an eye on this year.
