LeQuint Allen LeQuint Allen 6'0" | 180 lbs | RB Millville | 2022 State NJ | Millville
Allen averaged 8.6 yards per carry this past week as he rushed the ball 35 times for 304 yards and five touchdowns. He helped Milliville improve to 3-0 on the season as they defeated Shawnee 49-39 behind his touchdown runs of 1, 3, 5, 8, 12 and 42 yards.
Analysis: Allen is a downhill runner who hits the hole fast and is able to get to the second level in a hurry. His versatility in both the running game and the passing game is what makes the Millville offense click.
Steven Burkhardt | Gloucester
Burkhardt also scored five touchdowns last week as he fill his stat line with 272 yards on 24 carries. He accounted for all of Gloucester’s scores as he scored from 3 yards out twice, 12, 60 and 65 yards. He also caught a 22-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jake Seibert.
Analysis: Brukhardt is a patient runner who does a good job following his blockers. He allows the play to develop and uses his vision to find the holes in the defense which allow him to break long runs.
Dean Park | Fort Lee
In his first game of the season, Park helped Fort Lee to a 46-28 victory over Dwight-Morrow by rushing for 248 yards on 15 carries and two touchdowns.
Analysis: Park is the workhorse of the Fort Lee offense. He has good vision through the hole and the speed and agility to bounce the run outside. He loves to draw the defense inside before bouncing it outside.
Kanye Udoh Kanye Udoh 6'0" | 190 lbs | RB St. Augustine | 2022 State NJ | St. Augustine
Udoh helped the No. 5 team in the state to a shutout victory over Williamstown last week as he rushed 24 times for 242 yards and two scores. He averaged 9.3 yards per carry and scored on runs of 18 and 74 yards.
Analysis: Udoh is a prospect who has good balance and speed. He’s strong enough to fight off contact and has the speed to beat the defense to the edge.
Lawrence Hunter Lawrence Hunter RB Old Bridge | 2022 NJ | Old Bridge
Hunter put in an impressive performance in a 34-27 loss to North Brunswick. He rushed the ball 35 times for 229 yards and one score as he averaged 6.5 yards per carry.
Analysis: Hunter is a shifty back who gets north and south quickly. He has the shiftiness to make defenders miss and the strength to fend off defenders as he picks up a number of yards after first contact.
