Drew Allar Drew Allar 6'5" | 215 lbs | QB Medina | 2022 State OH is the #1 ranked QB and the #8 ranked player overall in the class of 2022. He had a phenomenal game last week as he completed 29 of 50 passes for 523 yards and 5 touchdowns as he led Medina to a 38-27 victory over Stow-Munroe Falls. He makes quick reads and scans the entire field while using his excellent ability to read the defense. He has a smooth release as he delivers an accurate ball as he throws receivers open with very good arm strength to all areas of the field on short, intermediate and deep passes. He shows very good elusiveness in the pocket with very good footwork as he escapes the rush from blitzing LB coming off the edge and is able to deliver the ball accurately while on the move.
WR, Luke Buckley, 5’9, 170, Brecksville-Broadview Heights
The Senior WR had a great game on Friday night as he caught 12 passes for 166 yards and 2 TD in a 42-7 blowout victory over Wadsworth. This season, he has caught 23 passes for 251 yards and 3 TD. He plays as a Z WR. He uses his very good hip fluidity and athletic ability to separate from his man at the top of his route and displays very good hands as he shows the ability to make the catch with his arms fully extended on passes that are thrown over his shoulder. If he is able to beat his man deep, he uses his good acceleration to outrun all defenders for the touchdown.
RB, Anthony Demma Anthony Demma 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Garrettsville Garfield | 2022 OH , 5’10, 180, Garfield
Anthony Demma Anthony Demma 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Garrettsville Garfield | 2022 OH is the 23rd ranked RB in the class of 2022. He had a huge game last week as he rushed for 191 yards on 23 carries (8.3 ypc) and 2 TD as Garfield was victorious against LaBrae 35-14. He displays very good patience as he waits for his block to be set up. Shows good burst through the hole and is able to accelerate to top speed quickly once he enters the secondary. He displays good play strength as he lowers his shoulders and runs over DB with ease but also displays very good play speed and athletic ability as he is able to outrun all defenders for a long touchdown run.
DL, Tico Johnson, Lakewood
The 6’5″ Senior DL played well last week as he made 5 tackles, forced a fumble and had a sack. He plays as a DE where he lines up in a 5T. Against the run, he fires off the ball and uses his long arms to beat the OT to the punch while using his good hand use and play strength to shed the block. He shows good instincts as he takes the correct angle in pursuit, plays at a good pad level as he wraps up the RB for the tackle preventing a significant gain. Against the pass, he effectively uses his hands with good physical toughness to stack the OT at the point of attack and shed the block. He uses his very good closing speed in pursuit of the QB and finishes up with a punishing hit for the sack.
LB, Stuart Klein, 6’1, 205, Revere
The Junior LB played very well in week 4 as he made 11 tackles (8 solo), had a fumble recovery and a sack. He plays as a MLB. He uses his very good football intelligence to quickly key and diagnose the play, displaying very good play speed in pursuit of the ball carrier while quickly penetrating the line of scrimmage and shows very good form tackling ability as he plays with good leverage and uses his shoulders to drive through the RB bringing him down for a TFL.
