Ohio 2024’s to Keep Your Eye On
TJ Engleman 5’8 160 (Cincinnati Princeton)- TJ is a dynamic playmaker. After an injury sidelined Princeton starting QB Mekhi Lynn Mekhi Lynn 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Princeton | 2022 State OH , Engleman took over the reins of a Vikings team with high expectations. He gave defenses fits with his ability pass the ball, but also with his ability to make electric plays running the ball. Engleman currently has a D1 offer from Akron, but I expect him to start adding high major offers as early as next offseason once schools see his Sophomore film.

Charles Hawkins 5’10 180 (Roger Bacon)- Hawkins plays Free Safety for the Spartans. There are many things to like about his game. Fundamentally he’s a good open field tackler, and shows good spatial awareness. Physically he accelerates quickly, really good feet, and smooth hips. Hawkins already shows the versatility to be able to play man or zone (even single high). As he get’s bigger and stronger he’s going to be really fun to watch progress. He’s starting to get mid major interest and it should only pick up from here.

Angelo McCullom 6’2 258 (Olentangy)- This young defensive lineman is starting to blossom into something special. I project him to be a rush tackle at the college level. His physical traits are what immediately catch your eye. His get off allow him to get into position to make plays. His strength for a sophomore is very impressive and allows him to be a disruptive force. There’s room for growth in his technique, but when that develops and it all comes together, he has a chance to be really good.

Preston Wolfe 6’2 166 (Hilliard Bradley)- At 6’2 Preston displays good length and catch radius. He has excellent hands that he uses to catch the ball away from the body. His routes on man are precision, and he’s also adept at finding pockets in zone defenses and sitting down in them. He’s a willing and able blocker. I’m excited to see where this young man continue to grow and develop.

Ben Roebuck 6’7 320 (Lakewood Saint Edwards)- At 6’7 300+ Ben’s size jumps out immediately. Then when you get into his film and see the movement skills that he has to go a long with the size and it’s clear this young man has a chance to be a special player. Not many players get the opportunity to start as a Sophomore at a High School Blueblood like Saint Ed’s, but that just goes to show how high Roebuck’s ceiling is. He has really good footwork on his pass set, good hand placement, and bend. Beyond that as if you need more, he shows the ability to finish. Ben recently received an offer from Boston College, but that’s just the first of many D1 offers. I expect him to explode onto the scene of the P5 high majors over the next offseason and camp season.
