Delian Bradley Delian Bradley 6'0" | 190 lbs | DB Springfield | 2022 State OH – Springfield – S – 6’0″ 185 lbs
Bradley is one of the biggest stock risers in Ohio since the start of the season. He’s come out and been one of the best Safeties in the state and is making plays all over the field. He’s a great athlete and can cover from sideline to sideline and has fantastic closing speed. The offers have started to come in steadily and Air Force, Akron, Arizona State, Army, and Ball State are just a few of the offers he has.
Delaney Wilburn Delaney Wilburn 5'11" | 185 lbs | DB Groveport Madison | 2022 State OH – Groveport Madison – S – 6’0″ 185 lbs
Wilburn is very similar to Bradley in his playstyle. Coincidentally, they have the same exact H/W. Wilburn is a better coverage player and has track-level type speed. If he gets into the right program his ceiling is off the charts. Wilburn can play inside and outside and either Safety spot. He isn’t going to miss many tackles and he’s got a knack for coming up with INTs. He’s recently been offered by Colorado and everything points to him playing for them.
Christian Kirenga Christian Kirenga 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Archbishop Alter | 2022 State OH – Archbishop Alter – CB – 6’1″ 180 lbs
Kirenga is one of the more exciting Corners to watch. He’s able to play in the slot and on the outside. He’s able to move around and you can blitz with him if you want to. He understands the little details about what makes a player successful. He’s recently been offered by Akron and Illinois State. I’d expect a handful more of offers to come in and based on my evaluation and research I feel confident in saying he’ll end up going FBS.
Joel Castleberry Joel Castleberry 6'1" | 185 lbs | DB St. Edward | 2022 State OH – St. Edward – ATH – 6’0″ 170 lbs
Castleberry is listed as an ATH because he plays all over the field and they like the ball in his hands. He’ll even return kicks when they ask him. He’s being recruited as a CB and that’s where he’s at his best. He plays very physically and aggressively and sometimes will jump routes. He’s been offered by Central Michigan, UT Martin, Akron, Buffalo, and Cincinnati. Where he ends up I’m not sure but he has every tool in his toolkit. He has a bright future and I hope he lands in the best situation to maximize his talents.
Isaiah Funches-Foster – Lima Senior – CB – 6’1″ 176 lbs
Funches-Foster is best on the outside and I don’t think he will play on the inside very often. He has the length and the reach needed to play with outside WRs but I don’t think he has the short-area quickness needed to play in the slot. His footwork could also use some cleaning up because he will catch himself getting mixed up here and there. He’s recently been offered by Akron and Bowling Green.
Eli Coppess Eli Coppess 6'1" | 210 lbs | DB Pickerington North | 2022 State OH – Pickerington North – S – 6’1″ 200 lbs
One of the best recruits in all of Ohio has decided on a home to play his college football. After sifting through offers from all of the military academies, Penn, and Akron, Coppess has decided to become a Miami Redhawk. I love this fit for Coppess and he’s going into a program that is on the upswing. He has the talent and instincts to go there and be successful. He’s worked hard for this and we couldn’t be happier for him.
