Player Spotlight: GA OL Preston Clark Named US Next All-American
Preston Clark Preston Clark 6'1" | 250 lbs | OL Buford | 2026 State GA , a 6-foot, 235-pound offensive tackle from Buford, GA has been named an Under Armor All America. The rising eight-grader will join roughly 70 other eighth-graders in Orlando, FL in January 2022 to compete against some of the top 2026 talent from across the country.
“I’m excited about the opportunity and I’m looking forward to showcasing my skills,” said Clark. “I can’t wait to compete against some of the best players in the country and hone my skills.”
Clark is confident his skills will match up with the best of them as he’s been training hard to improve his craft.
“I’ve been training with coach Kevin McAlmont at B-Fit Solutions for the last four years,” he said. “I’ve also been working on my strength, speed and agility with coach Travis Hawk at Hawk Fitness. I feel these two have really helped me get bigger and stronger and have prepared me for an event of this caliber.”
On the field, Clark utilizes his size and strength to move defenders. He does a nice job in pass blocking and at times shows the ability to get to the second level on run blocking.
“I feel my current strengths are my instincts, my pass blocking and my ability to push some people around,” he said. “However, there is always room for improvement and I want to continue to work on my position versatility, my speed and learning to read defensive fronts after breaking the huddle.”
Clark has lofty goals as he looks to cement his position on one of Georgia’s top high school programs.
“I hope to be the best lineman in my class and help carry on the tradition of Buford as being one of the top high school programs in the state,” he said. “My dream is to eventually become a Nebraska Cornhusker as I’ve been a long-time fan of theirs since that’s where my family and I are originally from.”
