Continue ReadingFrom 10 total TDs to 5 interceptions, 7 TD catches to 6 sacks, and 400+ rushing yard performances, we have had some mind-boggling single-game individual efforts from around the Midwest so far in the thrilling regular season of 2021. From the Great Plains of the Dakotas, over to the billowing smoke stacks of Detroit, Cleveland, and Indianapolis, and up to the lakes and snow-covered tree tops of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan, high school football players from all around America’s Heartland have been showing out this fall and catching the eyes of college staffs, local media, and of course the great scouts at PrepRedzone. In what was a newly introduced weekly series for PRZ, I have been recording and sharing some of the best showings from preps in the 12 Midwest states to bring to our readers a “PrepRedzone Top Midwest Performers” to wrap up the previous Friday’s games. Now that we have moved onto the playoffs and the number of teams competing gets cut down week after week, I wanted to complete the 2021 series by highlighting the best and craziest passing, rushing, receiving, and defensive productions from the regular season so our subscribers can see who will be a recipient of this PrepRedzone Top Single-Game Performance Award for 2021. In each state, I’ve selected the Top-3 stat lines (if available) that occurred from the regular season, and also named one single performance the best in the Midwest for the year. Check out who shattered state and school records, single-handedly got their team a W, and had themselves a night they won’t soon forget below, and congrats to all of the selections!
