The competition is picking up as athletes across the state are finally hitting their stride, with seven weeks already in the dust. The last three weeks will be necessary for team glory and high school football immortality by winning a league title and making a playoff run. Here are some top players across Ohio that you should know. Welcome to part 3; let begin.
Tommy Dunn, LB – Shaker Heights – 2022
- Dunn has been a top performer all season long and has earned his 4th D1 offer during week 7 of the high school season. His team has not seen a lot of success, but what success they find, Tommy Dunn is at the center.
Cassius Hulbert Cassius Hulbert 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Edon | 2022 OH , OL – Edon
- Hulbert is 6’3, 295lbs, and is very strong. Cassius has been a two-way player for the team all season long but will play OL in college. His team is 6-1, and a lot has to do with how he performers up front for Edon. All-State Talent
Tyler Tusai Tyler Tusai 6'5" | 220 lbs | QB St. Thomas Moore | 2025 State NewE , QB – Padua – 2024
- Tusai is an exceptional talent in the class of 2024. I was first introduced to Tyler at the All-Ohio Showcase in Lorian, Ohio, and his abilities jumped off the charts! Attached are his hudl highlights; give the young prospect a look!</li>
Emmett Smith, ATH – Rogers – 2022
- Just like his name suggests, he knows his way around the endzone. Emmitt helped his team defeat the Scott Bulldogs, who were coming into week 6-1. Smith helped his team seal the victory in OT as they beat the red hot Bulldogs.
Cam Swiger, QB – Anthony Wayne – 2023
- Swiger started the season off in a slump but decided it was time to turn it around. In the biggest game of the year, Perrysburg vs. Anthony Wayne, he stepped it up and led his team to victory.
Terrance Holbert, OL/DL – Waite – 2022
- The athletic big man from the East side of Toledo comes ready to play vs. Start. Terrance dominated up front all season long and is one of the best two-way gridiron players in the Toledo City League. During week 7, Holbert had multiple TFL, Sacks, and a fumble recovery vs. Toledo Start.
Corvell Morgan, ATH – Start – 2023
- Morgan is a long athlete who can make big plays when the ball is in his area. Corvell is a player that makes sure open-field tackles and has the size and intangibles to play at the next level. Morgan’s recruitment should pick up over the next few months as he is having a solid season thus far.
Steven Pittman, ATH, Waite – 2022
- Pittman had to step up in week seven and did so in a big way! Steven had to play both sides of the football and made plays in all three game phases. His IQ is off the charts when the ball is in his hands, Hidden Gem!
