CJ Williams CJ Williams 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Mater Dei | 2022 State CA – ATH, La Costa
Williams has been a solid contributor in all three phases of the game for La Costa lining up at CB, WR and filling in as a return specialist. He’s been a consistent playmaker at his corner spot jumping routes and flashing incredible ball skills and timing. He plays extremely well with his eyes in zone and shows a good understanding of route concepts and field leverage. He has the physical tools to be an effective cover corner showing fluid hips and good speed to keep pace with receivers downfield. Williams could be a high-level DB recruit in the coming seasons.

Madden Faraimo- S, Cathedral Catholic
At 6’3 200 lbs., Faraimo already possesses the frame and build of a D-1 athlete. He shows versatility covering as a deep safety and providing physical run support close to the LOS and plays with a level of physicality rarely seen in players his age. He’s physical at the point-of-attack showing understanding of sideline leverage when coming up from deep safety and has the strength to take on pulling guards to contain the edge. With his combination of size and physicality, Faraimo has the potential to be one of the top 2025 defenders in SoCal. He just picked up an offer from local SDSU this past week.
Thank you @Coach_Mattix @KHOKE23 @CoachSumlerSDSU for the offer to further my academic and athletic career at SDSU. The opportunity to play football at the next level is a blessing and I am extremely grateful. All glory to God 🙏🏽 #psalm16v8 #goaztecs pic.twitter.com/pTETNjWpE3

Anthony Taylor- ATH, La Costa
Taylor is another talented CB with a bright future lining up opposite of fellow freshman,
CJ Williams
CJ
Williams
6'2" | 195 lbs | WR
Mater Dei | 2022
State
CA
. Taylor and Williams possess similar athleticism and skillsets showing great feet, quick reactions, and instincts rarely seen in players their age. Taylor has been a playmaker in the secondary utilizing plus ball skills and showing impeccable timing jumping underneath routes. Both Taylor and Williams should be lock up corners over the next several seasons and should see activity in their recruitment pick up soon.
Luke Givens- DL, La Jolla Country Day
Givens is an impressive athlete making plays from his DE spot. He’s explosive off the LOS, plays with great leverage and shows good bend around the corner. He has an athletic frame at 6’3 190 lbs., and shows speed tracking RBs on outside runs or chasing down scrambling QBs. He’s a tenacious player off the edge playing with great intensity and high motor. Givens is an exciting player to watch in the trenches and should see an uptick in his recruitment in the near future.
Zavier Leatherman- LB, Army-Navy
Leatherman is a standout two-way player at RB/LB and one of the leading tacklers for Army-Navy with 61 tackles on the season. He tracks ball-carriers well from his LB spot and shows lateral speed tackling sideline to sideline. He’s physical at the point-of-attack and shows the ability to beat blockers to the spot and break down for a tackle. He uses his eyes well covering his middle zone and shows quick reactions to the ball. Leatherman is a physical player to keep an eye on as he continues to grow and develop.
