Brandon Boria Brandon Boria 5'8" | 190 lbs | RB Cherokee | 2023 State NJ | Cherokee
Boria put on a dominating performance this past weekend as he averaged 14.37 yards per carry as he rushed 24 times for 345 yards and five touchdowns. Boria gets north and south in a hurry and runs with good pad level. He does a nice job following his blockers and has the vision and speed to bounce the run outside. Over the past two weeks, Boria has rushed for 576 yards and nine touchdowns.
Curtis Whiting Curtis Whiting 5'10" | 175 lbs | RB Hackensack | 2022 NJ | Hackensack
The Hackensack offense ran through Whiting this past weekend as he rushed for 305 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged 21.78 yards per carry as he scored all of Hackensack points in a 49-12 victory over Passaic. He scored on runs of 1, 5, 5, 15, 27, 46 and 87 yards. The senior consistently hits the hole hard and has the strength to run through arm tackles. He shows good cut-back ability and is a home run threat when he touches the ball.
Nick Ciolino | Saddle Brook
The senior running back continued his streak of 100-yard games as he rushed 12 times for 272 yards and four touchdowns. He now has amassed the 100-yard mark in all four games this season. Ciolino is one of the feature backs in a Wing T offense and he does a good job following his blockers and if he gets the edge he’s tough to catch.
Pat Cerulli | Rutherford
Cerulli was the bell cow for the Rutherford offense last weekend as he rushed 33 times for 270 yards and three touchdowns. He scored on runs of 1, 13 and 42 yards as he helped Rutherford to a 28-7 victory over Pompton Lakes. He’s a twitchy back who can put his foot in the ground and cut on a dime. He gets north and south in a hurry and has the speed to pull away from the defense at any time.
Connor Dietz Connor Dietz 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Brick Memorial | 2024 State NJ | Brick Memorial
The sophomore quarterback had the best game of his career this past weekend as he rushed the ball 18 times for 240 yards and three touchdowns. The 6-foot-1, 165-pound signal-caller often reads the defensive ends well and is tough to bring down. He uses his size to his advantage and isn’t afraid to take on contact.
