Nick Sakys 6-2 205 QB 24’ West Linn- Sakys is one of the top Sophomore QBs in the state and has made the most of his time when given opportunities for the Lions. He has hit on an impressive 68% of his passes (32/47) with 5 TDs and 3 INTs.
Ryder Swanson 6-3 215 DE 24’ Oregon City- An outstanding looking athlete with size who had a breakout Sophomore season in the state’s toughest conference. His 2nd team All TRL honors speak to his future.
Dylan Howell Dylan Howell 6'1" | 270 lbs | OL Sam Barlow | 2024 State OR 6-0 260 OL 24’ Barlow- Howell is undersized but tough and had one of the most impressive seasons of any 2024 lineman in Oregon. His 1st team All Mt Hood honors speak to how much respect he already has within the conference.
Devin Brooks 6-4 330 OL 24’ Clackamas- You will hear a lot about this kid in the years to come as the size speaks for itself. His 1st team all conference honors as a Sophomore compliment a talented group of Junior’s returning for the Cavs.
Jacob Hutchinson Jacob Hutchinson 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Jesuit | 2024 OR 6-2 180 QB 24’ Jesuit- Much of the Crusaders success has come via the young QB. He has size and is an outstanding overall athlete (baseball). Look for Jesuit to be in the state title mix in the years ahead.
Deakon Looney 5-11 210 OL 24’ Mt View- Collegiately Looney will most likely end up playing on the defensive side of the ball. He is another kid who had a great sophomore year as an undersized lineman, earning 2nd team honors.
Jace Eveland 6-6 300 OL 25’ Putnam- There is still a lot yet to be determined here but you can’t teach the size and early success that Eveland has had. The Kingsmen are far from a football power but this will be a kid to watch, earning 1st team all conference accolades as a freshman.
Chris Azari 6-1 270 C 24’ Lakeridge- Azari had a breakout year and was very influential with all of the success the Pacers had upfront. He earned 1st team All TRL honors, and provides LHS with one of the top returning Junior OL combos, along with Camden Ferguson Camden Ferguson 6'3" | 305 lbs | OL Lakeridge | 2023 State OR .
Zhaiel Smith Zhaiel Smith 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Central Catholic | 2025 State OR 5-11 175 WR 25’ Central Catholic- One of the top freshman in Oregon. Starting as a 9th grader in the playoffs for the #1 ranked team in the state speaks volumes. Expect him to have a monster year on the 7v7 circuit.
Avirey Durdahl 6-0 180 QB 25’ Nelson- Started as a freshman for the new high school. Something incredibly tough to do at the Varsity level, hitting on 62% of his passes (53/85) with 10 TDs in 4.5 games.
