QB, Drew Allar Drew Allar 6'5" | 215 lbs | QB Medina | 2022 State OH , 6’5, 215, Medina
The 6’5 Senior signal caller and the #1 ranked QB in the class of 2022 had a phenomenal game in week 3 of the playoffs. The soon to be Penn State Nittany Lion completed 30 of 54 passes for 386 yards and 3 TD as Medina defeated St. Ignatius 27-14. Looking at the film, he displays good mobility as he scrambles to his right and delivers an accurate ball while on the move. He displays excellent accuracy and arm strength as he is able to complete the pass into a tight window to a spot where only the receiver can catch it. He shows very good poise in the pocket as he keeps his eyes downfield when there are multiple defenders coming at him, steps up and delivers a great ball. In the next round, Medina will play St. Edward.
WR, Trey Martin Trey Martin 6'1" | 190 lbs | WR Green | 2022 OH , 6’1, 190, Green
The Senior WR played a huge role in Green’s 21-14 defeat of Wooster. He caught 9 passes for 202 yards and scored all three of Green’s touchdowns. He also added an interception on defense as a CB. He lines up on the outside as a Z. He uses his good football intelligence to find the soft spots in zone coverage. He is a good route runner who displays good hip fluidity as he breaks off his stem on a 45 degree angle on a slant route, able to make the catch on a 50/50 ball and displays good acceleration and play speed as he eludes all defenders after the catch for a long TD. In the next round, Green will play Washington on Friday night.
LB/RB, Tommy Bebie Tommy Bebie 6'1" | 195 lbs | LB Rocky River | 2022 State OH , 6’1, 200, Rocky River
The Senior RB/LB and soon be Wake Forest Deacon Demon had an excellent game last week as he rushed for 187 yards on 19 carries and 3 TD while also making 9 tackles and 4 TFL on defense. Despite the 51-28 defeat by West Holmes, he showed tremendous heart. He shows very good burst through the hole and accelerates to top speed quickly once he enters the secondary. He shows very good contact balance as he is able to keep moving his feet through attempted tackles made by LB and DB. A reliable receiver as well as he runs flat routes coming out of the backfield and makes the catch with his hands and then shows good power as he runs through tackles and picks up a 1st down.
QB, Charlie Ciolek, Olmsted Falls
The Senior QB played very well last week as he threw for 223 yards and 3 td in a 49-21 loss to Avon. He had a great season as he led Olmsted Falls to an 11-3 record and led a high-powered offense that averaged almost 40 points per game. He makes quick reads and is able to find the open receiver. He delivers an accurate ball with good zip and places it on the correct shoulder maximizing yards after the catch. He shows good mobility as he uses his good play speed and quickness to roll out and delivers the ball accurately when throwing from an awkward position.
WR, Colin Ginley, 6’3, 170, Elyria Catholic
The Junior WR had an excellent game last week as he caught 5 passes for 119 yards and a touchdown as he helped Elyria Catholic defeat Elmwood 51-21. He lines up primarily in the slot. He takes long strides and covers a lot of ground quickly when running his routes. He displays very good hands as he shows a great catch radius that enables him to make the catch on passes that are thrown high and uses his very good play speed and acceleration to gain significant yardage after the catch.
