Adams Central Flying Jets
Ryan Black, Quarterback and Outside Linebacker, 5’11, 175 pounds, Junior
Ryan Black is a two-way player who provides a tremendous amount of value for the entire Adams Central squad. He is a very solid tackler defensively. On the offensive side of the ball, he leads an outstanding unit. Adams Central can run the ball very effectively and Black is a part of that. He uses his legs well and he can pick up critical yardage on the ground. In the passing game, Black does well with plays that utilize his mobility. He is great at play-action passes as well as plays that have designed rollouts. Black has a great arm and he is able to test the coverage at any point.
Nick Neuenschwander, Wide Receiver and Cornerback 5’8, 154 pounds, Senior
Nick Neuenschwander is another player who makes an impact on both sides of the ball. At corner, Neuenschwander shows great one-on-one coverage skills. Offensively he can be useful in a variety of ways. Neuenschwander is a great receiver. He has the speed and route-running ability to beat the opposing corner, making him a vertical threat to watch out for. He also does well in the wildcat quarterback role. Neuenschwander can be effective as a runner as well. Look for him on jet sweeps and end-arounds.
Blake Heyerly Blake Heyerly 6'1" | 200 lbs | RB Adams Central | 2022 State IN , Running Back and Middle Linebacker, 6’1, 205 pounds, Senior
Key to being successful in the passing-game is being able to run the football- something the Flying Jets do very well. Blake Heyerly Blake Heyerly 6'1" | 200 lbs | RB Adams Central | 2022 State IN is crucial to the success of their ground attack. Heyerly is a tough, physical player and he is a great downhill runner. He is great at moving the chains and keeping the opposing defense on the field. If he can continue that success this week, it will open up many options for the Adams Central offense.
Indianapolis Lutheran Saints
Montasi Clay Montasi Clay 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Indianapolis Lutheran | 2022 State IN , Superback and Free Safety, 6’0, 180 pounds, Senior
Key to Indianapolis Lutheran’s undefeated run to Lucas Oil Stadium has been the play of their leading passer and playmaker Montasi Clay Montasi Clay 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Indianapolis Lutheran | 2022 State IN . Clay is listed as a Superback, so we should be prepared to see a lot of different things from him. Clay used the dynamic ability that he has to gain just under 200 yards rushing in the team’s Semi-State win over Tri. As a passer, Clay has thrown 29 touchdowns and just five interceptions. For the season, he has nearly 1,900 rushing yards. Montasi Clay Montasi Clay 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Indianapolis Lutheran | 2022 State IN can be an exciting all-around player at the next level. If Clay can have the sort of game that he has proven himself to be capable of, then it could be a long day for Adams Central.
Joe Davis, Running Back and Outside Linebacker, 5’10, 165 pounds, Junior
Clay is not the only player on the team to eclipse the one thousand-yard mark on the ground. Joe Davis has accounted for 1,100 of the team’s rushing yards this season. Davis has managed to run it in for 11 touchdowns. Davis gives the Saints an elite combination in the backfield. Adams Central will have to be disciplined and watch the ball at all times, because you can never be too sure who will run it between Davis and Clay.
Jake Pasch, Wide Receiver and Strong Safety, 6’0, 165 pounds, Senior
On defense, Jake Pasch has shown himself to be a tackling machine for the Saints. Pasch has come up with 138 tackles this season, including 12 tackles-for-loss. Pasch is also a threat on the back end. He has brought in two interceptions, so Black will have to be careful when throwing in his direction. Expect Jake Pasch to be all over the field for Indianapolis Lutheran.
