The game was between The Katy Paetow Panthers (15-1) vs The College Station Cougars (15-1). Both teams are evenly matched there was no telling who would win this game. By the end of the 1st half both teams were tied at 14-14 and then by the end of the 4th quarter they were tied again at 21-21. Therefore, this led the game going into overtime. The momentum kept on flipping between both of the teams throughout the whole game. However, one team had to win the game and The Katy Paetow Tigers scored a touchdown during overtime resulting in a final score of 27-24. Even though, The College Station Cougars lost they still made it all the way to the state championships. I will be discussing The College Station Cougars defensive standouts.

Connor being 6’6 and over 300 pounds gave The Katy Paetow Panthers a lot of trouble. Connor was also agile for his size. No matter if it was one block or a double team the offensive line couldn’t keep Connor under control. Connor was able to contribute to stopping a good amount of runs and forcing Paetow’s quarterback to rush a lot of his throws. Connor’s high school football career is now over, but he has numerous offers from different colleges and universities.
