So now it’s time to take a deeper look at some of the state’s offensive line prospects.
Maleek McNeil Maleek McNeil 6'7" | 340 lbs | OL Walter Panas | 2022 State NY – Walter Panas
The 6’8 monster has a massive frame but what is the most impressive aspect of Maleek McNeil Maleek McNeil 6'7" | 340 lbs | OL Walter Panas | 2022 State NY is his athleticism. I saw him punt a football and then make a touchdown-saving huge hit on the sideline that is very rare from a 300 plus offensive lineman. He also looks fluid on the basketball court showing impressive footwork. McNeil is currently a Penn State commit.
Asa Neal – Erasmus Hall
Out of all the offensive linemen in New York Asa Neal probably faced the best edge players week in and week out, and he dominated! Neal does a great job of getting to the outside shoulder of edge defenders, and once he works up to the next level, and mows down quicker athletes. I think Asa Neal is the most complete offensive lineman in the state for the 2022 class. He currently holds offers from New Hampshire and Rhode Island

Joe Cruz Joe Cruz 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Sachem North | 2022 State NY is the prototypical left tackle prospect with a tall frame and athletic ability. The Syracuse commit does a great job of showing his potential by showing balance when pulling and in pass blocking. He keeps a good base and is almost impossible to beat outside.

Alex Heininger Alex Heininger 6'5" | 270 lbs | OL Brighton | 2022 State NY is a right tackle mauler who showed why he is a Central Michigan commit. Heininger is cat-quick for his size, and he leverages his quickness to get into defensive lineman before they know what is happening. He does a good or rolling his hips and not letting defenders get off once he is engaged.

The moment you watch Scott Becker Scott Becker 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Iona Prep | 2022 State NY on film you understand why he is a Princeton commit. Scott Becker Scott Becker 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Iona Prep | 2022 State NY is incredibly technical as an offensive guard. He understands the nuances of the position, and it shows with his powerful wide base and incredible balance when pulling. His feet always seem to be under his body, and he doesn’t overreach when dealing with smaller quicker defenders.

Tahir Dukes Tahir Dukes 6'5" | 330 lbs | OL Canarsie | 2022 State NY is another player who played against some of the state’s top talent and he dominated. He is athletic enough to play left tackle and deal with all the speed edge guys and also get upfield on screen passes. I think Tahir Dukes Tahir Dukes 6'5" | 330 lbs | OL Canarsie | 2022 State NY could lineup at either of the tackle positions at the next level. At 6’6 he has great length, and he is patient in pass protection. He does a solid job in the run game and can reach the outside of edge players. Currently, Molina holds an offer from Wagner.
