In the only battle of undefeated teams on this weekend’s state playoff slate Chardon beats Hamilton Badin for the closely contested 21-14 win.  That makes it back to back Championships for the Chardon Hilltopers.  Here’s the game by the numbers.

Turnover- despite the lack of offensive yardage and first downs in this game it wasn’t for reason of turnovers.

12 & 1.5- Tackles and sacks for Chardon’s Brody Dotson.  In a game that was a big time defensive battle Dotson was the big time standout.

12- the number of times defenses held the opposing offense to a 3 and out.  A big sign of just how

12.6- Yards per a rush for Chardon’s Andrew Bruce Andrew Bruce 5'11" | ATH Chardon | 2024 OH on his way to 7 rushes for 88 yards

16- Combined Punts.  Just an amazing stat.

103- Total Passing yards in the game

107- rushing yards for Badin’s Jack Walsh.  He was the only player to eclipse the 100 yard mark in offensive yardage.

376- Total yards of offense by both teams

503- Combined punt yardage, another amazing stat.
