#18 Hayden Timosciek Hayden Timosciek 6'7" | 235 lbs | QB Lockport | 2022 State IL 6’7 235 22′ QB Twitter
Mr. Timosciek works in platform, here he’s able to put zip on the ball and make all level throws (level 1, level 2, & level 3). He navigates the pocket well as he gets the ball off under pressure and can climb the pocket to find his man to deliver a strike downfield. If he doesn’t find anyone open downfield he can pull the ball down to scramble to gain a few yards on the play to stay ahead of the sticks. He has a fluid arm motion with his upper and lower half working in unison, this helps him make throws in tight windows as seen below. This young man keeps his poise in the pocket and does a good job as the signal caller for this offense. Currently is uncommitted and holds an offer from Valparaiso University. I would be shocked if more offers don’t come knocking on his door these next few weeks.

#97 Cole Silzer Cole Silzer 6'3" | 245 lbs | DL Lockport | 2022 State IL 6’3 250 22′ DL Twitter
Mr. Silzer works gap to gap clogging up the running lanes and disengages from blocks to make the tackle on the play. He gets pressure on the opposing quarterback coming off the edge. This happens with his quick 1st step and his use of hands at the point of attack to bat the offensive tackle’s hands down and gain leverage to disrupt the play. In both run support and in his pass rush, he fires off the ball and brings his aggressive playstyle as he plays through the whistle. There’s no doubt as to why Eastern Illinois University offered this young man (as well as his twin brother Cody Silzer Cody Silzer 6'3" | 245 lbs | DL Lockport | 2022 State IL ).

#7 Ty Schultz Ty Schultz 5'11" | 200 lbs | RB Lockport | 2022 State IL 5’10 195 22′ RB Twitter
Mr. Schultz has the vision to find running lanes quickly between the tackles and has a quick initial burst at the line of scrimmage which he uses to gain a step on the 2nd level defenders. He finishes plays by fighting for extra yards and breaking arm tackles in the process as he plays through the whistle. In the air attack, he can catch out of the backfield and line up in the slot to catch screen passes. Both of which he gets vertical once he secures the catch. As I’m writing this, he just got an offer from Eastern Illinois University. I would be surprised if more offers don’t come his way after his impressive performance in the 8A State Championship game. Below is a threat of some of his game clips, go check it out!

#10 Ethan Gallagher Ethan Gallagher 6'3" | 190 lbs | LB Lockport | 2022 State IL 6’4 190 22′ LB Twitter
Mr. Gallagher finished the game with 6 tackles, 2 TFLs, 1 FF, and 1 INT as he was all over the place in the 8A State Championship game for the Porter’s defense. He triggers downhill quickly in close space and disengages blocks to make the tackle. When in open space, he squares up to the ball carrier and wraps up to secure the tackle limiting the ball carrier to get yards after contact. He can shoot the gap and slip through blocks to disrupt the play in the backfield resulting in tackle for losses. When coming off the blitz on passing downs, he does a good job of slipping through the B gap to deliver a blindside hit on the quarterback which ended up forcing a fumble on the play. In my eyes, he’s a D2/NAIA LB caliber prospect. If he were to switch positions to DE, I could see him possibly becoming an FCS caliber player given a team would want to hone his craft and tap into his potential at said position. He has the frame to add more weight to him and already brings the intensity, time will tell where this young man lands. Currently holds no offers from any level.

#1 Danny Martisek Danny Martisek 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Lockport | 2022 State IL 6’0 170 22′ DB Twitter
Mr. Martisek was all over the place for his team in the 8A State Championship being a menace on the defensive side of the ball. He does a good job of attacking the ball at the highest point to come away with the game sealing interception shown below. When in zone coverage he has smooth transitions with his fluid flip of the hips to stay with his man in coverage. When in open space, he triggers downhill quickly to make the open field tackle and wraps up when doing so. These last two games (Semi Finals & State Championship) have been his best two games all season in my opinion. In my eyes, he’s a D2 cover corner that can contest 50/50 balls as well as turn and run for deep shots downfield. Currently holds 0 offers from any level.

#30 Mike Sajenko Mike Sajenko 6'0" | 190 lbs | RB Maine South | 2022 State IL 5’11 197 22′ RB Twitter
Mr. Sajenko is a hard runner that isn’t afraid to lower his shoulder to play through contact. He has the vision to find running lanes quickly between the tackles and finishes plays by keeping his feet driving to fight for extra yards. This young man is also used in the air attack as he can catch out of the backfield, once he secures the catch he gets vertical quickly. The biggest trait to him is his ability to make something out of nothing. There was a forced fumble at a crucial point in the game, instead of falling on the ball this young man decides to pick it up and do what he does best. Upon securing the fumble, he plants his foot into the ground and changes his gears quickly turning a broken play into a 20+ yard gain putting his team in scoring range. The clip is below. In my eyes, he’s a D2/NAIA caliber player that can potentially rise to FCS (with scholarship). He can also become a 3 down back at the next level and be used as a threat in both offensive attacks (air & ground game). Currently holds a PWO to Eastern Illinois University.

#14 Rowan Keefe Rowan Keefe 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Maine South | 2022 State IL 6’2 189 22′ QB Twitter
Mr. Keefe puts a touch on the ball when making all level throws and can fit the ball between the linebacker/safety when making level 2 throws. When working in platform, he’s able to climb the pocket and get the ball off under pressure as he’s falling to the ground. If the pocket is collapsing he’s able to make something out of nothing by escaping the pocket and finding his man downfield for the completion (check out the clip below of him doing just that). He isn’t afraid to pull the ball down to scramble if everyone is covered downfield to keep ahead of the sticks. Currently is uncommitted and holds an offer from The University of Dayton.
