At 6’8 320 and having just turned 16 he’s an imposing figure to say the least. As most young lineman he looked more comfortable in run blocking situations, but his pass sets were impressive as well for a young man of his size. One thing I was really impressed with was his balance and functional strength. If he got his hands on the defender it was usually over, many times ending with him throwing defenders to the ground. He rarely overset or got off balance. Roebuck has a very bright future. He’s already getting recognized by the
2022 Easton Korody Easton Korody 6'5" | 270 lbs | OL Carey | 2022 OH (Carey) 6’4 280- The Blue Devils only attempted 5 passes on the way to a 26-14 win over Coldwater 26-14. A key component to that run game was offensive tackle Easton Korody Easton Korody 6'5" | 270 lbs | OL Carey | 2022 OH . Korody established himself as a physical blocker at the point of attack. He’s athletic enough to pull and pass set on the edge, but strong enough to win at the POA. Korody is committed to the Penguins of Youngstown State University.
2022 Taran Tao (Versailles) 6’4 300- Tiger ball was back in Versailles in 2022. The smashmouth running game hinged a lot on offensive tackle Taran Tao who the coaches would move from Left Tackle to Right Tackle frequently to give themselves the advantage on the edge. Tao was simply a wrecking ball in the running game. Lining up and destroying defenders both on the defensive line and at the second level.
2022 Damarion Stone (Winton Woods) 6’6 315- Stone is the big right tackle, who was a big part of the Winton Wood running attack that took down the Archbishop Hoban Knights. Stone does a great job of anchoring and taking his man away from the play. He has strong hands, and when he gets them on the defender, they usually don’t make the play.
2023 Owen Trick (Clinton Massie) 6’2 245- Trick isn’t the biggest of offensive linemen, but he’s athletic, he’s strong, and he’s technically sound. I like him as an offensive guard at the college level, but I think he could be really good one. Trick consistently did a good job of winning at the line of scrimmage and making key blocks downfield
