Casey Macziewski RB – Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton High School, Class of 2025 (5’9″ 170lbs)
It’s tough for a freshman to see the field at any high school, but it’s even tougher when you’re playing at a successful 3A school. Macziewski managed to see the field a little bit for the DGF football squad this past fall and showcased his skills as a RB. He is a north and south runner with good speed in the open field and has a low center of gravity that helps him break arm tackles. Macziewski should be an exciting prospect in the years to come and I am excited to see his growth and development as he matures.

OLB – Pillager High School, Class of 2024 (6’0″ 170lbs)
Schultz is a lanky OLB for the Huskies who shows a lot of promise. He does a great job of using his length against offensive lineman that helps him make plays both in the run game and the pass game. His length allows him to read and react to backfield action and he doesn’t get caught out of position very often. As Schultz adds muscle to his frame, he should be able to do a better job of driving through lineman and making more plays in the backfield.

MLB – Brainerd High School, Class of 2024 (6’2″ 210lbs)
Gross is a thickly built middle linebacker who does a phenomenal job in the run game. He is very good playing between the tackles and is rock solid as a tackler. Watching his highlights, Gross shows good change of direction in the passing game and is able to read the QB’s eyes and close windows as a zone dropper. As he gets more experience, I expect Gross will improve by being more aggressive in the run game and coming downhill with more ferociousness and physicality.
Daniel Jackson K/P – Alexandria High School, Class of 2025 (5’8″ 130lbs)
You never know how important a solid kicker/punter is until you don’t have one. Well let me tell you Alexandria is set for the next few years, thanks to this impressive freshman. Jackson has a solid follow through on kickoffs that allow him to drive the ball really well for a player who only weighs 130lbs. He shows great flexibility with a high leg finish on both kicks and punts. His punting motion is a little different because he leaves his plant leg on the ground but he is still able to consistently punt it 30-35yds. As Jackson continues to add muscle and refine his technique I believe we’ll see one of the top kicking prospects to ever come out of Minnesota.
