We had a few athletes burst out of the seams from the class of 2024, and the same will undoubtedly happen with the class of 2025. We’ve got 6 receivers we currently have a close eye on, and here’s a little on those 6 players!
Standing at 5’8″ 165lbs, Adrian Walker Jr. is one of the next men up for Belleville. The WR/DB is a very talented athlete that has already been invited to and attended some great camps. Knowing his size at 5’8″, he’ll likely be a great slot receiver unless he hits a growth spurt. A definite name to watch for now.
Conner Temple Conner Temple 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Utica Eisenhower | 2025 State MI (Eisenhower)
Temple, like Walker, is a great C/O 2025 receiver with a high ceiling. Temple stands at 5’11” 155lbs making him a more flashy type of receiver, rather than a physical one. Overall, Eisenhower has some extremely promising talent, and considering the local buzz around Temple, I am excited to see what’s in store for him.
Trey Sloothaak (Zeeland West)
There isn’t much out there Sloothaak right now but he is quite a good basketball and football player for his age for sure. Zeeland West has had its fair share of great talent, and my hope is that Sloothaak develops into a force in the OK-Green.
Eric Slater Eric Slater 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Roseville | 2025 State MI (Roseville)
At 6’2″ 185lbs, Slater is a great size for a receiver playing for an established program. I believe he transferred to Roseville from Detroit Jesuit, either way, he’s playing for a team that will greatly develop his talent. He’s already had a significant amount of playing time, and he’s shown spurts of great ball skills and physicality.
Nazier Howard Nazier Howard 5'7" | 150 lbs | DB Belleville | 2025 MI (Belleville)
At just 5’7″ 150lbs, Howard looks to be a great athlete from Belleville. He’s competed in a good amount of offseason competition and shows flashes as a route runner. It’s still really early on and I am generally excited for his development.
Deshaun Lanier Deshaun Lanier 5'11" | 165 lbs | WR Chippewa Valley | 2025 State MI (Chippewa Valley)
Already with a ton of local press, Lanier is a great prospect from Chippewa Valley. He already has been invited to some elite camps and has a very high ceiling. He’s a good size at 5’11” 165lbs, and I am interested to see exactly what type of receiver Lanier becomes.
