6-foot-5 Eighth Grade Lineman Adds Oregon Ducks Offer
It’s been quite the month for class of 2026 offensive tackle, Keenyi Pepe. With a week left in January, Pepe added an exclamation point with an offer from the Oregon Ducks.
The eighth grader from California already stands 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds and is on track to easily be one of the top prospects in nation for his class. The offer came over the weekend, as he was part of a group from LacedFacts that made the trip north to Eugene.
He took to Twitter to announce the offer.
Pepe kicked off the month in Orlando, Fla. as he participated in the Under Armour Futures Game. He was one of 75 eighth graders around the country selected for the prestigious showcase game, that was played in conjunction with the Under Armour High School All-American Game.
Following the UA Futures action, he also participated in the Islands Best All-Star Game. The Islands Best game features many of the top up-and-coming Polynesian prospects in the country. Athletes from Hawaii, Las Vegas and both northern and southern California were selected for the game.
With January nearing its conclusion, there is still time to tack on additional offers before the calendar turns to February. The big man already holds offers from Kansas, San Jose State, Fresno State, Nevada, Colorado, and Texas.
