The state of Georgia has a history of producing high-level QBs, and the signal callers at this event, whether mentioned or not, could add to that list over the next few years. The entire group impressed with their competitiveness, but these are the 4 guys that we thought separated themselves as the event went on.
Gavin Hall Gavin Hall 5'10" | 190 lbs | QB Gainesville | 2024 State GA | 2024 | 5’11 | Hebron Chrisitan
@Jghall12 has stood out all afternoon, definitely a gunslinger you need to know 💯 @PrepRedzoneGA @PrepRedzone pic.twitter.com/V0oEtHXEvE

Hall turned heads all day, and came out of the event as one of the best overall performers at the entire showcase. He tested very well at the drills, where he showcased some of his twitchiness and explosiveness. If you have watched his film before, this was not a huge surprise. A fierce competitor that started lining up at WR and DB as the event went on, and he certainly has the athleticism to do so. I wanted to see how he threw the ball in person, and came away impressed. He has a rocket for an arm, and can sling the ball downfield with ease, even when throwing off-platform or on the run. Hall was super fun to watch in person, and he still has 2 more years of improving at the high school level.
CJ Franklin | 2025 | 6’0 | Grayson
Had a great time at @PrepRedzone camp on today. Thank you for the invite! @PrepRedzoneGA @CStory808 @cjacksonPRZ @JacobWaters @Coach_Russ_6 @BHoward_11 @Lemmingscouting @BigFaceSportss @RecruitGeorgia @Coach_FredM pic.twitter.com/g7i2XZZfAZ

Franklin was on my radar coming into the event, and I was excited to finally get some eyes on him in person, and he did not disappoint. One thing he did to separate himself from everyone else was his composure. He stood tall in the pocket, and remained calm even in the face of pressure. Never got down on himself or discouraged, just kept working and tried to get better. Tested well, but it was the competition part of the camp where he really started to stand out. Made smart decisions with the football and extended plays with his legs and his footwork in the pocket. Showed off a quick release and was able to change up his arm angles to make certain throws. Franklin was one of the youngest at the event, but he certainly held his own and has a very bright future.
Riley Harmon | 2023 | 5’10 | Oak Grove (AL)

Harmon commuted about 3 hours from Alabama to compete at the event, and compete is what he did. Tested well. and showed off his effort in a highly competitive group. He caught my eye early with his twitchiness and speed. As a passer, you can tell he is mobile and likes to get outside the pocket. Showed the ability to throw the ball well on the run, but also performed well in the pocket. When facing pressure and having to process multiple things at once, he played his best and was one of the most accurate in the group. Overall, Harmon is athletic, fundamentally sound, and a high effort player. Those three traits should prove well for the rising senior.
Donovan Morton | 2024 | 6’4 | Mundys Mill
2024 QB out of Mundys Hill (GA) Donovon Morton passed the eye test and performed well during the competition part of the camp.
Someone to monitor. @DonovonMorton | @MundysMillFB | @PrepRedzoneGA pic.twitter.com/BTq3UnFsph

Morton’s film shows that he is certainly a runner, so I was looking forward to seeing how he could throw the ball around. At 6’4 220, he was one of the biggest players at the event, and could move well for his size. Not necessarily a faster guy, but he maneuvered the pocket well and showed some nice body control during the testing section of the camp. Where he really separated himself was during the competition part of the camp. When he faced pressure, he stepped up in the pocket and showed off his accuracy. Morton proved today that he can be a complete package at QB. He absolutely passes the eye test, so he is certainly someone to monitor at the QB position over the next two seasons.
