Stokes gets loose in the secondary and makes the extended one hand grab!
When watching Stokes film, you see a wide receiver with good length who can make plays. He’s a savvy route runner with the speed to create separation. When the ball is in the air, he does a good job of tracking and high pointing the ball. Stokes shows the ability gain yards after the catch when utilized in the short passing game. Joe is a willing blocker in the run game and does a good job of blocking to the whistle. I project Joe Stokes to the Division 3 level in college.
4. WR David Adolph, Dublin Jerome, C/O 2022, 6’5 200
Adolph hauls in the game winning catch on a last second Hail Mary!
At 6’5 200 pounds, Adolph has great size for a wide receiver. In Jerome’s offense he was used in both the short and long passing games. In the short passing game he runs solid routes and shows good elusiveness for a bigger wr to make yards after the catch. In the long pass game Adolph does a good job of tracking and high pointing the ball. Contested catches are a strength as he does a good job of shielding the defender to make the play. Adolph is getting some D1 FBS and FCS attention, and has offers from several D2’s.
3. Hybrid TE Jackson McGohan Jackson McGohan 6'4" | 230 lbs | TE Miamisburg | 2023 State OH Miamisburg, C/O 2023, 6’4 200
Mcgohan fulling extends and cradles in the ball on an exceptional one-handed grab!
McGohan is an athlete that I’ve had a chance to see at a couple of different camps last summer. He’s a P5 kid, and it shows in his offers from Cincinnati and Iowa State. He also has several offers from D1 mid-majors. McGohan is a twitchy, and explosive receiver that has tremendous hand eye coordination. He’s a match up nightmare for defensive coordinators. Versus smaller defensive backs as he can use his size and strength to beat them. Against linebackers he can use his speed (he’s a borderline 4.5-4.6 kid) and explosiveness to get separation and make big plays. I expect McGohan to have a big offseason and pick up several more power 5 offers.
2. CB Pierden Pepe Pierden Pepe 6'0" | 185 lbs | DB Avon Lake | 2023 State OH , Avon Lake, C/O 2023, 6’0 170
Pierdon Pepe with the one-handed interception grab!
When you watch Pepe’s film you see a corner with really strong man cover skills. His instincts are really strong, as many times you see him run the route for the receiver and make the interception or the pass breakup. It’s not just the instincts that make him an intriguing prospect though, it’s that he’s a really good athlete. Obviously, his athleticism is on display with his one-handed INT, but in his film there are other examples of good athleticism and playmaking ability. As a cover guy he has fluid hips and ability to turn and run and stay in the receiver’s hip pocket. Based on the film I like Pepe as a D2 or D3 prospect.
1. WR Gage Sullivan Gage Sullivan 6'3" | 200 lbs | WR Kirtland | 2022 OH Kirtland, C/O 2022, 6’4 195
Sullivan fully lays out after a full sprint for the touchdown catch!
Gage Sullivan Gage Sullivan 6'3" | 200 lbs | WR Kirtland | 2022 OH is a long versatile athlete. On film you see him lineup at WR, RB, LB, and in the Wildcat. I like Sullivan as a wide receiver at the college level. As someone who I’ve seen in person Sullivan is a bit of a long strider so his speed on film is a little deceiving. Watching him live he’s a very impressive athlete for his size. When it comes to ball skills and catching hard or contested balls, you won’t find many better. At the college level I like Sullivan as either a big slot or a hybrid tight end. His ability to get open versus linebackers or safeties and make contested catches would make him a good candidate for either. I project Gage to the D2-D1 FCS level of college football.
