We are going to take a look at some prospects that are not currently committed to a college as of thin s writing. Fans will see some familiar names and a few names pop up on this list that may be flying under the radar. Let’s take a look at five prospects that have the talent to play on Saturdays in the fall.
Jordan Light Jordan Light 6'0" | 220 lbs | LB Monticello | 2022 State AR -Linebacker-Monticello
The Monticello linebacker lived in the offensive backfield this season. Light plays with excellent quickness and is always around the football. At 6’0” and 225-pounds Light uses his speed to defeat blockers. He can shut down an opponent’s rushing attack if the opposing offensive line will not account for him. Light has been offered a scholarship by the University of Arkansas-Monticello, but he is a player that has flown under the radar and his impressive level of play has not declined at all.
Conner Stacy Conner Stacy 6'0" | 155 lbs | ATH Alma | 2022 State AR -Wide Receiver-Alma
Conner Stacy Conner Stacy 6'0" | 155 lbs | ATH Alma | 2022 State AR is one of the most versatile players in the state of Arkansas over the past few years. The routes he runs are crisp and he does a good job of creating separation from the opposing defenders. He has been a player to watch out for over the past few months and he is someone that opposing defensive coordinators must account for in a game. Stacy can play a number of positions and his versatility makes him a player that scouts, and coaches should make a note of during the signing period.
Christian Torres Christian Torres 6'5" | 265 lbs | DL Arkansas | 2022 AR -Defensive Line-Arkansas
The Texarkana defensive lineman has excellent size. Torres is 6’5” and he uses his speed and size to disrupt opposing quarterbacks passing lanes. Torres can play all over the field and has tremendous versatility. He has a good mix of power and speed and can cause plenty of havoc to an opposing offensive line. Torres has impressive instincts, and he uses them well to disrupt both the run and the pass game. Torres currently has an offer from Northeastern State University.
Alex Pizzimenti Alex Pizzimenti 6'5" | 255 lbs | OL Mountain Home | 2022 State AR -Offensive Line-Mountain Home
Pizzimenti is an impressive offensive line prospect. He has a good mix of power and speed and can explode out of his stance. Pizzimenti plays with a chip on his shoulder, and he is looking for multiple defensive players to block. He is an offensive lineman that has strong hands, and he can be a force at the next level. Pizzimenti has multiple scholarship offers and it would not shock me to see him earn some more over the next few weeks.
Jackson Hutchens Jackson Hutchens 5'10" | 150 lbs | DB Bentonville | 2022 State AR -Defensive Back-Bentonville
One of the most consistent defensive backs in the state of Arkansas. Hutchens racked up 55 tackles, two pass break ups, and one interception during the 2021 season. He is a versatile player that can play all over the secondary. Hutchens has the speed to stick with wide receivers and he will make receivers work. Hutchens is one of those players that will not miss a tackle when he has a hold of you. He is a player that scouts and college coaches should check in with, he has the talent to play on Saturdays.
