Big week for Aumua who added three offers from George Fox, Graceland, and Linfield. At 6’2” 285 lbs. he possesses a well-built and balanced frame. On both sides of the ball he’s a finisher that is violent at the POA. He understands leverage and accelerates his feet upon contact to drive opponents off the ball. He’s a high effort player that shows good bend and flexibility for his size.

Micah Banuelos Micah Banuelos 6'2" | 285 lbs | OL Kennedy Catholic | 2023 State WA , 2023, OL, Kennedy Catholic – Offer from Oregon
After his unofficial visit to Eugene over the weekend, the top 2023 OL prospect in the state was able to add Oregon to his list growing list of offers that also includes Washington, Texas A&M, Oregon State, and Nevada. He possesses ideal size, frame, and length for a Power 5 interior offensive lineman at 6’4” 285 lbs. He’s an excellent athlete at that size that can bend, run, and move laterally to execute different types of blocks effectively. Elite ability to finish his blocks from the interior or at the second level/perimeter. Recruiting stock will continue to rise with more Power 5 offers on the way.

Chance Bogan Chance Bogan 6'4" | 220 lbs | TE Lincoln | 2022 State WA , 2022, TE, Wilson – Offer from Idaho
The big 6’4” 220 lb. TE out of Lincoln recently reopened his recruitment after originally committing to Washington in 2020. Since then he’s been offered by Washington State and most recently Idaho. He’s a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses with his combination of size, speed, and athleticism. He moves like a WR and has good natural catching ability. His list of offers also include ASU, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon State, Tennessee, and Utah.

Bo Carlson Bo Carlson 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Sumner | 2022 WA , 2022, QB, Sumner – Offer from Pacific Lutheran
The dual-threat QB out of Sumner was able to lock down his second offer from Pacific Lutheran to add to his offer from George Fox. As a senior, he put up big numbers throwing for 2,250 yards and 27 touchdowns with a 71% completion rate and added another 500 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground. He’s a rhythm passer with an accelerated release that allows him to get the ball quick and with velocity. Shows he can hit his spots and be accurate off different platforms and under pressure. Can pull it down and make a play with his legs when he needs too and flashes some elusiveness and wiggle in the open field. Voted First Team All-League.

Offers continue to roll in for the state’s leading rusher after adding Pacific Lutheran and Air Force this week. Ran for 2,657 yards and 46 touchdowns on his way to setting multiple school records leading to offers from Central Washington, Pacific, and Linfield. He’s an instinctual ball carrier that does a great job breaking tackles and creating open running lanes by manipulating his blocks. He sees the field well and shows good elusiveness in the open field. He’s a natural football player and competitor.

Dallas Daley Dallas Daley 6'2" | 215 lbs | LB Eastside Catholic | 2022 State WA , 2022, LB, Eastside Catholic – Offer from Air Force
Daley was one of the most slept on recruits in the state going into the season with just one offer from Central Washington but clear cut D1 talent/ability. After the season he finally started receiving the attention he deserves with a PWO to Washington State in November and has since added Army and Air Force. He can play both sides of the ball but is a violent and physical force on the defensive side. Has the ability to be a three down OLB with his instincts and anticipation to make plays in both the running game and in coverage. He’s a two time 1st Team All-League selection at both OLB and WR.

The dual-sport athlete (football/baseball) picked up his first offer from Mount Mary. He flashes strong coverage instincts that can play nickel or outside using his naturally athleticism and speed to cover sideline to sideline. He’s a ball hawk that shows good field vision and route anticipation to put himself in position to make a play. Good ball skills and timing at the catch point. Surprised more schools haven’t offered yet.

Connor Dow, 2022, WR, Shorecrest – First offer from Presentation
The Shorecrest deep threat pulled in his first collegiate offer from Presentation College. He stretches the field vertically with strong route running and plus ball skills. He does a good job setting up his routes with stems and nods in the front end and at the break point to gain positional leverage. He competes for every ball at the high point with good timing and extension. Uses his body well to box out defenders.

Offers continue to roll in for Ellis despite being committing to Utah State adding Idaho State and a PWO to Dixie State this week. He’s one of the top unsigned LB prospects left in the state at 6’2” 230 lbs. with a well-built frame and strong lower half. He’s an instinctual player that is violent and physical at the contact point with deceptive athleticism and speed. He’s an excellent open field tackler and shows great positional flexibility and versatility for the college level. Also holds offers from Air Force and Whitworth.

Jacob Erickson Jacob Erickson 6'0" | 200 lbs | OL Glacier Peak | 2022 State WA , 2022, OL/DL, Glacier Peak – Offer from Pacific
Erickson’s latest offer comes from Pacific after a string of recent D3/NAIA opportunities. At 6’0” 210 lbs. he’s excellent athlete with positional flexibility to play either side of the line. He’s a technician with his fundamentals with good strength and contact balance for his size. He wins battles with a wide base and great leverage to finish opponents to the ground. His athleticism and mobility allow him to execute different blocks with ease, consistently showing he can pull, reach, and overtake. Finished the season as a First Team All-League selection at both OL and DL and now has six offers to pick from including College of Idaho, George Fox, Whitworth, Presentation, and Puget Sound.

Michael Fant Michael Fant 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB Glacier Peak | 2022 State WA , 2022, LB, Glacier Peak – Offer from Clarke
The LB out of Glacier Peak added Clarke University to his list of offers bringing his total to five since the end of the season including George Fox, Presentation, Redlands, and Puget Sound. He disrupts offenses making a ton of plays at or behind the LOS. He shows good reactionary quickness to his reads and is smart with his attack angles allowing him to quickly close space on the ball carrier. He does a great job taking on blocks then disengaging to go make a tackle. Voted two time all conference inside linebacker.

Blain Hanly, 2022, LB, Eatonville – Offer from Dakota State, Iowa Wesleyan, Midway
The league Defensive Player of the Year and All-State LB has seen a recent rise in his recruiting with offers coming in from Dakota State, Iowa Wesleyan, and Midway. He’s a three down LB that is equally effective in coverage as he is as a run stopper. He flashes good change of direction and lateral mobility to redirect and chase sideline to sideline. Not the biggest LB at 5’10” 195 lbs. but plays much bigger with excellent brute strength and power at the POA. Has filled the stat sheet in a variety of ways his entire career at Eatonville but finished this season with 125 total tackles and 7.5 TFL’s.

Marcus Heffernan, 2022, WR, Bothell – Offer from Redlands
The recruiting hot streak for Heffernan continues after being offered by Redlands this week bringing his total offer count to five since the off season began. Good size, length, and frame to build on at 6’3” 185 lbs. with the versatility to play either side of the ball at the college level. He’s got good straight line speed and attacks every ball at the high point with good timing and extension. He’s aggressive at the POA and delivers strong contact on every tackle. Voted First Team All-League DB and Second Team All-League WR.

Isaiah Hennessy, 2022, LB, Bellevue – Offer from Concordia
Hennessy’s recruiting hot streak through the month of January continues with an offer from Concordia. Since the beginning of the offseason he has now picked up sevens offers from Arizona Christian, Whitworth, Pacific Lutheran, Puget Sound, Fort Lewis, and SAGU. He’s an aggressive and active defender with a great nose for the football. He’s got good closing speed and lateral agility to redirect and chase. He was a key piece in the Bellevue defense that went undefeated on their way to a state championship. He’s one of the best uncommitted 2022 LB’s in the state.

He’s a strong tackler that wraps up to the ground. First Team All-League selection.

Irish saw a spike in his recruiting this week picking up his first collegiate offer from Whitworth several days ago and has since added George Fox, Carroll College, and Linfield. College ready size/frame at 6’3” 300 lbs. He’s violent at the POA and shows good leg drive through contact to finish his blocks. Active and efficient hands to latch on and sustain his block through the whistle. Good ability to control defenders and win one on one battles. Voted First Team All-Area and All-League.

The two-way lineman was offered by Linfield last week to go along with his Whitworth offer at the end of December. Has ideal length at 6’5” with a strong frame to build on as he develops. He’s a good athlete that shows plus body control and coordination on both sides of the ball. Love his key play diagnosis and reactionary quickness.

The First Team All-League LB has picked up his first two offers this month from College of Idaho and most recently George Fox. He’s a high IQ defender that flies around with a great motor and nose for the football. Possesses a lot of tools to build with his ability to stop the run, rush the passer, and cover. He’s tough and uses his hands well to disengage and keep blockers away from his body. Was among the state’s leaders in tackles with 126 on the season.

Johnson’s had a great week with four consecutive offers coming in from Whitworth, Pacific, Minnesota Morris and Linfield. Surprising to see it take this long for his recruitment to take off with his combination of size, length, and natural athleticism at 6’2” 185 lbs. He’s a technical route runner that sells his routes with good footwork, a strong release move, and good wiggle at the top. Confident hands and his length gives him a large catch radius. Good upside and potential for the next level.

Ethan Kehl, 2022, RB, Chelan – First offer from George Fox, Pacific
Kehl picked up his first two offers from George Fox and Pacific this week. He’s a complete back that can run, catch, and block using his strong and compact frame at 5’10” 200 lbs. He’s a downhill power back with good short area burst/acceleration through the LOS. He shows good vision with the contact balance and strength to run through first contact and break tackles at the second level.

Albersh Kuwa Albersh Kuwa 6'0" | 210 lbs | ATH Southridge | 2022 State WA , 2022, ATH, Southridge – Offer from Pacific, Whitworth
Kuwa was featured in last week’s recruiting report after picking up his first offer from Willamette and has since added Pacific and Whitworth to his list of options this week. Senior season was limited due to injury but he’s flashed good upside and potential with his speed and fluid athleticism. He’s a weaver that is elusive in the open field but can also pick up tough yardage between the tackles. His best football is ahead of him.

Bryson Lamb Bryson Lamb 6'3" | 220 lbs | LB Squalicum | 2022 State WA , 2022, LB, Squalicum – Offer from Central Washington, Linfield
Lamb has added two offers recently from Central Washington and Linfield since his first offer from Colorado School of Mines prior to the season. After an impressive senior season that saw him account for 80 tackles including a state leading 18 TFL’s he was voted First Team All-State as a hybrid OLB. He was a force in the Squalicum defense in pursuit and coming off the edge as a pass rusher. He shows great anticipation skills to go along with his initial quickness and burst to close. He’s surprisingly underrecruited given his natural defensive playmaking ability and college ready size at 6’3” 230 lbs.

Tyler Lawrence Tyler Lawrence 6'5" | 295 lbs | OL Puyallup | 2022 State WA , 2022, OL, Puyallup – Committed to Air Force
The 6’5” 300 lb. lineman committed to Air Force over six other offers including Portland State, Georgetown, Fordham, and Lehigh. He’s a three sport athlete (football, basketball, baseball) that shows in his excellent, feet, bend, and mobility for his size. He can be a finisher when he needs to be but can also be a finesse blocker and effectively sustain a block to wall off a defender. He’s quick to flash his hands and be ready to punch with good extension and strength. Him and top prospect Dave Iuli Dave Iuli 6'5" | 320 lbs | OL Puyallup | 2022 State WA anchored the Puyallup line all season.

After adding Miami and Boise State last week, he has since picked up Cal, Louisville, and Boston College bringing his total count to 17 offers. He possesses a great combination of speed, power, and elusiveness. He’s a natural ball carrier with the ability to read/anticipate his blocks and see open running lanes and cutbacks. He’s quick and shifty in the open field and has a strong sustained second gear to finish off long runs in the endzone. He continues to show why he’s one of the top 2023 RB’s in the nation and expect the high level D1 offers to keep rolling in.

After picking up his first offer from Pacific midseason the 6’4” 270 lb. OT has added Central Washington and Montana Tech this week. He’s got good length in his frame with the ability to add mass as he develops. He shows good bend and flexibility firing out from his stance with good pad level and leverage. He’s a finisher that is effective executing a lot of different kinds of blocks both in the box and at the second level. Voted First Team All-League and Trench-man of the Year.

Malloe’s hot streak in recruiting continues after pulling in three additional offers last week from Whitworth, Graceland, and his first D1 opportunity from Hawaii. He’s a fluid athlete and aggressive DB with the versatility to play any position in the secondary. Duren Miller, 2022, LB, Peninsula – Offer from George Fox
Versatile skillset for Miller allows him to play multiple positions and contribute in all three phases. Projects as a LB at the college level where he can use his high motor and quick trigger to pursue sideline to sideline. He plays well with his eyes and does a good job avoiding traffic on his way to the ball carrier. He’s a sure tackler between the tackles and in space. Pacific Lutheran offered first in December and the George Fox offer came last week.

Strong two way playmaker that has picked up recent offers from McPherson and Pacific to add to his first offer from Lewis and Clark over the summer. He flashes great game speed and short area burst on both sides of the ball. Great balance and leverage as a ball carrier to make quick lateral cuts aided by his low center of gravity and pad level. He accelerates hard through the hole and can finish off long gains using his top end speed. Good positional flexibility for the college level.

Parker picked up his first offer from George Fox last week. At 6’4” 190 lbs. he possesses a wide skillset that allowed him to play all over the field for Auburn Riverside. He’s got good ball skills and strong growth potential to add weight to his frame. Will be interesting to see how he develops and is used at the college level.

The big 6’4” 195 lb. receiver pulled in a huge first FBS offer from Nevada and then added Central Washington. He’s got good positional flexibility with his size and growth potential but has already established himself as an excellent vertical/redzone threat. He does a great job using his length to his advantage by extending and elevating to snatch 50/50 balls over the top of defenders. Shows plus body control and coordination to adjust to the ball and make highlight reel receptions. He’s a three sport athlete (football, basketball, baseball) and quality next level recruit.

Big week for the defensive lineman out of Mead after picking up his sixth offer from Linfield and then committing to Carroll College several days later. He’s a strong and powerful 6’2” 230 lbs. coming off the edge. He explodes off the LOS with a quick first step and attacks the contact point with good leverage and pad level. Shows good efficient use of his hands, packing a hard punch and can lockout to control a blocker and maintain separation so he can shed and make a tackle. Sonko is a strong and capable interior defensive lineman that picked up his fifth collegiate offer from Pacific. He’s a space eater in the middle with active hands and a strong power rush. He’s disruptive and continuously saw double teams throughout the season while showing he can fight through and win those battles as well. Spaniel picked up an offer from Willamette and Whitworth after first being offered by Puget Sound in late December. One of the top punters in the state, he averaged 45 yards per punt and put 14 out of 27 punts inside the 20 yard line.

Jarrett Springs, 2022, DB, Puyallup – Offer from George Fox
The Puyallup DB has been seeing interest from a variety of D3 schools and was able to secure an official offer from George Fox last week. Throughout the season he was able to show good vertical coverage ability and ball skills at the catch point. Like his hand usage and ability to squeeze receivers to the outside while maintaining his positional leverage. Not afraid of contact and is a strong one on one open field tackler.

With the recent offer from Northwestern-St. Paul, Teeter now has four offers to his name including Elmhurst, Puget Sound, and Lewis and Clark. Voted the 2021 League Offensive MVP he showed off his natural passing ability and command of the offense throughout the season. He’s a confident passer that can attack the defense at all three levels especially vertically with great touch on the deep ball. Good all-around footwork and mechanics, he showed he can manipulate the pocket and improvise to make something out of nothing. Strong positional skillset and proven competitor.

Possesses a wide skillset but as a receiver he does a good job creating separation and finding the soft spot in coverage. He’s strong at the catch point with good body control and a large catch radius to pull in balls outside his framework. Good blocker on the perimeter that is able to sustain and spring ball carriers to the second level.

After the offer from Idaho came through last week the commitment came shortly after. He was one of the top uncommitted 2022 DB’s in the state prior to the commitment and still underrecruited given his talent and ability. The game comes naturally to him and he’s a big play waiting to happen with his instincts and anticipation on both sides of the ball. Idaho is getting one of the best kept secrets in the state.

Weller’s a three sport athlete with a long lean frame at 6’4” 205 lbs. as of now but has great growth potential as he develops. Showed he cannot only be a jump ball threat but that he can attack the defense at all three levels with clean and precise route running. He comes hard out of his stance and uses his hands well to fight through contact and get a release. First offered by Lewis & Clark prior to the 2021 season and added George Fox last week.

The offers are starting to pile up for Wheeler after adding Whitworth last week. The recruiting stock is trending up for the First Team All-Region RB first offered in early December by Lewis and Clark then Pacific right after the new year. He’s a throwback football player that is a difference maker on both sides of the ball. He’s a physical and attacking player at both RB and LB showing good strength and leverage at the POA. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more offers come is way before the end of the recruiting cycle.

The 6’2” 260 lb. defensive lineman out of Mt. Spokane added Linfield to his list of offers. He now holds nine total including Pacific Lutheran, Pacific, Whitworth, and Ft. Lauderdale. He does a great job creating a pass rush with good command of a variety of moves to beat blocks. He’s a strong athlete that has the mobility to play any position on the DL at the college level. Led his team in sacks and TFL’s on the season and was voted 1st Team All League.
