It’s led to many new offers and we’ve seen some big-time 2024 defensive backs earn major offers from across the country.
Noah Dixon – DB – Troup County
One of the top young defenders in West Georgia, the Troup County defensive back is coming off a fantastic sophomore season where he made plays on both sides of the ball. Now, he’s seeing his recruitment take off with offers this week from Georgia, Oklahoma and Kentucky. He has plenty of length and athleticism in his 6-foot-2 175-pound frame and showed great ball skills all season. He covers a lot of ground in the secondary and knows how to play the ball. He has reliable hands on offense with enough speed and quickness to take off for big yards after thee catch. He’s solid against the run and knows how to strike the ball-carrier and drive him backwards. Look for other schools to jump on board with an offer sooner than later.
Truly blessed to receive an Offer from The University of Oklahoma 🙏🏾⚪️ @coach_bhall @tanner_glisson @CoachMHealy @Trouprecruits @Prather95 pic.twitter.com/RN4ifptmdR

Kevon Gray – Hapeville Charter
There aren’t many programs across the state who produce defensive backs like Hapeville Charter, and they’ve got another young cornerback to know in sophomore Kevon Gray. The sure-handed defender has a solid frame at 6-foot-1 170-pounds and has natural cover instincts. He plays with good footwork and does a nice job of turning around and locating the football to make a play on it. He appears to be fundamentally sound and can be physical when he needs too. He also knows how to tackle and can help on the outside in the run game as well. He plays above his age and he’s starting to receive some serious D1 interest with new offers flowing in daily. The Atlanta native has earned new offers from Colorado and Louisville with many more likely on the way.

TyShun White “Ty” – Buford
Another standout Buford Wolf to know, White is a hard-hitting safety with range who is starting to see his recruitment really take off. He played alongside a lot of quality defenders, and even as a sophomore, White still made a way to make a big impact and prove to be one of the toughest tacklers on the team. The 6-foot-0 185-pounder covers a lot of ground in coverage and shows reliable ball skills when playing the ball in the air. His natural athleticism and versatility also allows him to help on special teams. He made a lot of plays for a state-championship Buford team and he should see more offers come his way sooner than later. This week, White earned offers from Purdue and Florida State.

Zion Ferguson – CB – Grayson
One of the top young defensive backs in Gwinnett County, Ferguson was one of the hottest prospects across the state last month, but the offers continue to roll in. This time, Ferguson has added one from Colorado, joining the other D1 offers from Ole Miss, Georgia, Florida State, South Carolina, Pitt, among others. He’s long, athletic, and went up against some of the best receivers in the state. He more than held his own as a sophomore, using his length and speed to stay on the hip of the opposing receivers. He broke up a decent amount of passes last year and showed he can really close when the ball is in the air. He ended the year on a strong note and is only scratching the surface of his potential.
