All of these guys were monumental to their team’s success, and all of these guys happen to be on playoff teams. Sow now, I’ll go over the 5 most dominant Running Backs I watched this season!
Grand Blanc RB Elijah Jackson-Anderson Elijah Jackson-Anderson 5'9" | 180 lbs | RB Grand Blanc | 2022 State MI
Jackson-Anderson takes the cake as the #1 Running Back I watched all season. I was able to watch 3 of his games, and in each one he showed up and showed out. He was among the most dominant and most consistent players I watched all season, making a few beast mode runs. My favorite run from Jackson-Anderson came early in the State Semifinals against Adams, where he broke a 93-yard touchdown to get on the board.
Elijah Jackson-Anderson (@ihson_j ) had a great day for @GrandBlancFB as they fell short against @R_AdamsFootball . Jackson-Anderson scored 3TD’s (1 rushing 2 pass), totaling over 180 total yards of offense. pic.twitter.com/PVkLwWfZuK

Unity Christian RB Drew Chandler
This team was inspiring with so many amazing athletes being led by elite coaching. Drew Chandler was a big back who was not afraid of contact, and expressiveness. Him and his brother Cameron were the driving force that led UC to the state championship, and he’s currently dominating on the hardwood.
Detroit MLK RB Terrence Brown
I didn’t hear a whisper of Terrence Brown throughout the season, and he did not get the credit he deserved after a dominant 113-yard performance in the state championship. Brown is a dense back who’s incredibly smart, surprisingly elusive, and never backs down from contact. Without his work, Detroit MLK would not have beaten DeWitt in the state championship. Not a chance.
West Catholic RB Timmy Kloska Timmy Kloska 6'0" | 220 lbs | RB Grand Rapids West Catholic | 2023 State MI
Kloska was a record-breaking machine this season, making the OK-Blue competition look like elementary school kids. I remember watching Kloska in warmups, and he just looked locked in, and extremely intimidating. You could just see it in his eyes before every play that he’s going to give 110% into every single down. I constantly see him putting in work in the weight room, and I feel like it’s time for Kloska to be in the conversation of one of the best C/O 2023 running backs.
Grandville RB Cade Pilczuk
Pilczuk had an absolutely legendary performance against Rockford, totaling 301 yards and 5 touchdowns. This stat line marks by far the best running back stats I witnessed all season. He ran hard behind his blocks and nearly pulled off the upset against one of the best teams in the West.
