In this article:
We’ve dissected each class and highlighted the stock risers and new additions to keep an eye on this offseason. We’ve uncovered some hidden gems and watched some stars propel to the top of the rankings. Below we will be uncovering some 2025 hidden gems recently added to the rankings…
Tristin Tyler Richardson Tristin Tyler Richardson 5'10" | 185 lbs | ATH Franklin | 2025 MDRichardson is listed as a quarterback on the Indians varsity team, but he is an all-around playmaker athlete. His role was more of a wildcat quarterback on Franklin’s varsity. During his time spent on JV Franklin used his superior athletic ability to the fullest, he played quarterback, cornerback, some running back, and punt return on special teams. He’s very comfortable with the ball in his hands and runs with determination. He’s elusive and runs through arm tackles but his ball carrying vision is what sets him apart from others, he can turn broken plays into big gains. Richardson clearly has the ability to consistently produce on the varsity level. He’s currently about 5’9 180lbs and with a natural growth spurt adding to that already varsity ready frame, he should be a player that is on your radar.

Kendrick Worthington Kendrick Worthington 6'1" | 200 lbs | RB Loyola-Blakefield | 2025 State MD
With Worthington’s current body size/frame and skillset he’s projected to be a division 1 prospect. He demonstrates speed, power, and great hands out of the backfield. His stamina during long runs stands out, most players slow down or run out of running strength as the play extends, but Kendrick keeps the same intensity through the echo of the whistle. Kendrick sits very high on my players to watch radar; he absolutely separates himself from the rest of the competition on JV, splitting through defenses with ease.
Anthony Smith Anthony Smith 5'11" | 160 lbs | WR Dundalk | 2025 MD
Smiths One-handed Catch at Showcase
Smith is talented beyond his years with raw abilities that make him a great receiver. He has a great ability to high point the ball and make acrobatic catches. Smith played on Overleas Varsity team as a slot receiver and also contributed as a DB. After the catch Smith gets vertical and runs with determination, fighting for every inch. I had the opportunity to evaluate Smith at a handful of showcases and outside of physical abilities his work ethics stands out from a crowd. Win or lose, he’s continuously seen getting rep after rep and applying the corrections and tips from coaches. Overlea has a gem on their hands, you can expect for Anthony to emerge as a key player on this team.
Jonathan Epperson Jr Jonathan Epperson Jr 6'0" | 190 lbs | LB Auburn Riverside | 2025 State WA
Epperson is a utility defensive athlete. He lines up at both outside and inside linebacker, outside linebacker fits his current frame and skillset the best. Epperson is 6’0 180lbs and can fly sideline to sideline, allowing him to set the edge on outside run plays. He’s really good in run pursuit and solid in pass coverage across the middle. When lined up at inside linebacker he easily navigates through the tackle box and stops defenders in their tracks. There isn’t much forward progress once he gets his hands on the ball carrier. Jonothan finished with 30+ tackles with only 5 Varsity games played.

Amir Wallace-Jones Amir Wallace-Jones 6'1" | 210 lbs | ATH St. Johns | 2025 State MD
Jones has great size at 6’2 190lbs, playing linebacker, receiver and some running back. With that frame he could develop into a dominant prospect at either of his positions. He’s dangerous with the ball in his hands, whether on an interception, reception, or hand off he showcases his playmaking ability and shows that he is no stranger to carrying the ball. He flashes good on contact strength and explosiveness in his tackles, initiating contact when carrying the ball and in his blocking.
