Peter Woods Peter Woods 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL Thompson | 2023 State AL 6’3 259 DL Thompson 2023
Woods is a can’t miss prospect whose elite strength and nuance for his age make him a contender for being the best prospect in the state. As an interior rusher he uses his strength to work through blocks with solid bull rushes and vicious rips. Woods uses his length well to get into the blockers’ chest and control the point of attack. He plays with tremendous leverage and tenacity to stop the inside run and can anchor a defense as an interior lineman. As a pass-rusher, Woods uses his quick hands, strength, and agility to bend corners to cause havoc on the edge. When he does get in the backfield, he has excellent closing speed and eats up space when making plays in the open field.

Kelby Collins Kelby Collins 6'5" | 250 lbs | DL Gardendale | 2023 State AL 6’5 280 DL Gardendale 2023
Collins has D1 size, motor, and skill. His ability to make tackles in the open field, contain outside runs, and be physical at the point of attack is top flight. His strength allows him to successfully take on double teams and win, which is impressive. He also moves well for his size and can shoot the gap and cause wreck plays before starting with an impressive first step. Collins also has a high Iq and can read and react to options and quick-game plays. As a lineman, he’s versatile enough to stuff the run and collapse pockets as an interior lineman or an edge rusher.

Keldric Faulk Keldric Faulk 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL Highland Home | 2023 State AL 6-6 240 Highland Homes 2023
Faulk is a high-energy defensive end that wins with motor, persistence, and intensity. He consistently runs downplays causes disruption to the pocket, and is visibility trying to win every rep. Though his 6-6 frame holds 240 pounds, he carries it in a wiry frame with natural upper body strength where he sheds blocks and long arms his way to the ball carrier. As a rusher, Faulk is very disruptive. He constantly gets home and causes pressures and is skilled in clogging passing lanes and causing deflections. As a run defender, he’s instinctual and has a great timing of snap counts. He can consistently shoot gaps, get the jump on opposing linemen, and always get tackles for losses

Yhonzae Pierre Yhonzae Pierre 6'4" | 220 lbs | DL Eufaula | 2023 State AL 6’4 220 DL Efuala 2023
Pierre is an explosive lineman who can win with speed consistently. His first step and agility make him a terror off the edge and a constant threat to wreck an offense. Piere does a great job of using his speed to keep blockers on their heels. In addition to that, he has developed a beautiful spin to counter his initial work and shows good footwork when dipping his shoulder and bending the corner. He also has solid strength at the point of attack and can move a man if he catches them with bad leverage.

Tomarrion Parker Tomarrion Parker 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL Central | 2023 State AL 6’4 255 DL Central 2023
Parker’s game is a rare blend of power and speed. This enables him to be effective with speed to power moves and causes significant problems for offenses. As a young player, he shows nuance in his footwork and hands. He does an incredible job of being active with his hands when engaging with blockers. His footwork is stellar, and he’s developed an excellent juke move to keep opposing linemen guessing where he’s going to attack. At the point of attack, he’s ultra physical and always looks to be the hammer and not the nail. As a tackler, he’s fundamentally sound and seems to bring significant force on every hit. In addition, he’s disciplined in the run game and understands setting the edge and containment assignments.
