It was a big weekend for the one of the longest tenured camps in the country, as the Austin camp was a complete sell out and San Antonio only a had few positions left. Per FBU’s Twitter account, their social media accounts received over 2 million views over the course of the weekend.
There were a number of standouts at all positions over the weekend, but here’s a look at the Offensive skill players that earned praise from FBU, with a deeper analysis.
Jonathan Hatton Jr Jonathan Hatton Jr 6'1" | 195 lbs | RB Steele | 2026 State TX . | Running Back | Texas | 2026
Back in November when we first covered Hatton Jr. it didn’t take a genius to see that he was absolutely shredded for an eighth grade prospect–then his play backed up his physical stature. Obviously that has only continued to ring true, as he was named the Middle School G Award (MVP) at the San Antonio camp. He’s a dynamic back who is equal parts fast, smart and physical. He is going to be a great one on the next level.
Harlem Brown | Wide Receiver | Texas | 2026
Brown got busy at the San Antonio camp and was named to the All Camp Team and picked up an invitation to Top Gun in the process. Brown joined his Alamo Middle School teammates–offensive lineman, Dylan Roemisch and defensive lineman, Jason Williams–in the recognition. Hard working kid who can fit a number of roles on a team, but looks at him in the slot as a receiver.
Joaquin Martinez Jr | Wide Receiver | Texas | 2026
Came to the FBU camp as a wide receiver and excelled to the point of being recognized by FBU for his performance. I think he has a bright future on offense, but to me this kid has linebacker written all over him. He’s put together pretty well for an eighth grader and comes downhill with power. Has pretty decent ball skills, which is why he earned recognition as a receiver, but he’s a defensive player.
Traejan Mueller | Wide Receiver | Texas | 2026
Mueller earned an invitation to Top Gun this summer with his performance at the Austin camp. Mueller is a quick, fluid receiver who runs very crisp routes. Has very good body control in and of out of his breaks. Gives up a lot of size at this point at just 5-foot-5 and 120 pounds, but he competes and has very sticky hands.
Tano Wooten | Running Back | Texas | 2028
Wooten was nothing short of spectacular during Team Austin’s run in the 6th grade FBU National Championship tournament, highlighted by earning 2nd Team All-Tournament. There is obviously a long way to go in his development, but Wooten is a kid that looks like he could be special. He’s a combination of size and speed that makes him a nightmare to deal with on both sides of the ball at this level.
In addition to 2026 running back Colin Kim, who stood out, a trio of wide receivers also received high praise from FBU, per the article linked in the into. Alexander Harros and Alexander Cross, both 2026’s earned invitation to Top Gun and class 2029 (just a fifth grader) Keith Dove rounded out the top performing skills guys.
