North Ohio
It’s a blessing to be involved with football, specifically in northern Ohio. So much talent goes unnoticed, and I’ve made a pact to ensure my readers know what’s happening at the Northcoast! Here are my notes from this past weekend that I thought I should share with you all.
AJ George c/o 2023 – Ottawa Hills
Position: TE/LB
6’2 200 lbs
Notes:
George comes from a football background, and you can tell he knows the game exceptionally well. You won’t question his passion or grit as he is the go-to player on both sides of the football. His sneaky athleticism often leaves defenders chasing his ghost. AJ has been a mainstay for the past three seasons for the Green Bears of Ottawa Hills. AJ is also an honors student, which makes me believe he would be a good candidate for an IVY League program. Expect an All-State performance from George in 2022.
Brian Robinson c/o 2024 – Austintown Fitch
Position: ATH
6’4 215 lbs
Notes:
If you walk in the room and see Brian Robinson, you will think you are on-campus of a division one college. Not only is Robinson one of the first guys you let off the bus, but he is a guy that you let play first, too! Watching Brian’s leadership skills and ability to embrace his new status of a top 2024 in Ohio, he camped well and had FUN. Robinson’s potential on either side of the ball is sky high, you can tell that Brian is locked in on developing his body and skills. The day after the All Ohio showcase, he made the trip to the UA ALL American camp and had another excellent performance. I spoke to Brian after the UA camp, and he told me, “I am going back to Austintown to get prepared for another workout” Watch out for Robinson this summer at college camps, as he has already exploded on the scene, but I believe he is just scratching the surface.
Luke Stuewe Luke Stuewe 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Avon Lake | 2025 State OH c/o 2025 – Avon Lake
Position:6’0
6’0 170 lbs
Notes:
We know about the Stuewe family here at PRZ. I wrote an article on his brother last week; go check it out: Article. Luke was turning heads left and right as most thought that they were seeing double as both brothers took turns running well-oiled routes. Luke has very twitchy movements, and his ability to freeze defenders with his feet looks varsity ready. Stuewe will be one of the top WRs in the Ohio 2025 class when it’s all said and done; I like his potential.
