Bachmeier told Greg Biggins of 247Sports that he went to a camp at Stanford last summer and developed a good relationship with the coaching staff.
He told Biggins that he performed poorly at the camp but the coaching staff decided to offer after watching his junior year film. Bachmeier caught 80 passes for 1,426 yards and 16 touchdowns.
His brother Hank is the starting quarterback at Boise State and his younger brother Bear Bachmeier Bear Bachmeier 6'2" | 225 lbs | QB Murrieta Valley | 2025 State CA is a freshman quarterback at Murrieta Valley.
Bachmeier also had offers from Arizona, Cal, Oregon and San Diego State among others.

Pittsburg class of 2023 quarterback Jaden Rashada Jaden Rashada 6'4" | 185 lbs | QB Pittsburg | 2023 State CA was offered by BYU on Wednesday.
Rashada is a five star quarterback who is 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds. He threw for 2220 yards and 27 touchdowns last season with just five interceptions.
BYU is the 30th school to offer Rashada with Miami being the most recent school to offer him back in February.

Santa Margarita class of 2023 receiver Niko Lopez Niko Lopez 6'3" | 210 lbs | WR Santa Margarita Catholic | 2023 State CA was offered by Nevada on Thursday.
Lopez is a 6-foot-3, 210 pound receiver who burst onto the scene during passing league tournaments last summer. He was the leading receiver for Santa Margarita in the fall with 693 yards on 65 catches with 8 touchdowns.
Nevada is the third school to offer Lopez, joining Colorado State and Louisville.

Lincoln (San Diego) class of 2023 linebacker David Peevy David Peevy 6'4" | 230 lbs | LB Lincoln - San Diego | 2023 State CA was offered by USC on Thursday.
Peevy is 6-foot-4, 230 pounds and had 37 tackles with three sacks for Lincoln last season.
USC is the 16th school to offer Peevy. He is an excellent edge rusher who knows how to use his length to create separation with offensive linemen.
Arizona, Boise State, Colorado, Fresno State, Oregon, Oregon State, San Diego State, Utah and Washington have also offered Peevy among others.

Mission Viejo class of 2023 receiver Mikey Matthews Mikey Matthews 5'10" | 180 lbs | WR Mission Viejo | 2023 State CA picked up three offers this week from Nevada, Boise State and Utah.
Matthews is a good deep threat receiver and also excels at making plays after the catch on underneath routes. He led Mission Viejo in receiving last season with 843 yards on 66 receptions with 9 touchdowns.
He is now up to 15 offers including Arizona, Boise State, Boston College, San Diego State and Utah among others.
