Continue ReadingThe running back position in the state of Arkansas is always a talented group to examine. No shortage of talent exists in the class of 2025 running back position grouping. We are going to look at some of the 2025’s most talented players. It would be a good idea to become with many of the names you are going to see in this article.
Kiandrea David Barker-Beebe-6’1” 185-Pounds
Barker has terrific speed and hits the hole quickly. He does a good job of catching passes out of the backfield and is a threat to take it the distance from anywhere on the field. Barker is a running back that displays plenty of patience before choosing the rushing lane he is going to take. Barker has caught the eyes of college scouts with his quickness and ability to turn a short gain into an explosive one. Keep an eye on Barker and Beebe over the next couple of years the pieces are there for a deep playoff run.
Hudson Ball Hudson Ball 6'2" | 210 lbs | DL Jenks | 2025 State OK -Shiloh Christian-6’2” 210-Pounds
The Shiloh Christian running back is one of the most versatile running backs in the state of Arkansas. Ball runs with a good mix of power and speed. He is one of those running backs that can rush it between the tackles or cut it to the outside and take it for a big gain. One facet of his game that tends to get overlooked is ability to catch the football. Ball is a running back that I expect big things from over the next couple of seasons.
Jayden Dunlap Jayden Dunlap 5'10" | 200 lbs | RB Bigelow | 2025 State AR -Bigelow-5’10” 200-Pounds
The Bigelow coaching staff does an excellent job of getting the Dunlap the football. He has the ability to cut it to the outside and take it the distance down the field. Dunlap has excellent power and can run opposing defenders over with little effort. He is a player that can be used effectively in the passing game and is a load to bring down when he gets into the open field. Dunlap is a prospect to keep track of over the next couple of seasons.
Jay Purifoy Jay Purifoy 5'8" | 160 lbs | RB Arkadelphia | 2025 State AR -Arkadelphia-5’8” 145-Pounds
Purifoy has excellent speed and is a nightmare to bring down for opposing defenders. He has the speed needed to cut it to the outside and is shifty enough that he can make talented defensive players look silly. Purifoy can be lined up as a wide receiver and used effectively in the passing game. Purifoy’s versatility will make him a difficult player for opposing teams to account for on the field. I look forward to seeing what he does this season.
Darnell Williams Darnell Williams 5'11" | 175 lbs | RB Ashdown | 2025 State AR -Ashdown-5’11” 175-Pounds
Darnell Williams Darnell Williams 5'11" | 175 lbs | RB Ashdown | 2025 State AR is one of my sleeper’s heading into the 2022 football season. The Ashdown running back has good vision and does an impressive job of picking his rushing lanes. Williams is the type of back that can run the ball well and catch the ball out of the backfield. He is a prospect that has the potential to light up Friday night over the next few years. Williams already has the speed and the vision to cause plenty of opposing defenses problems in 2022.
