For three hours, athletes from throughout Florida had the opportunity to learn some new things as well as get a chance to apply them.
As we focus on every player and position at the event, today we check in on a position that has become vital and popular at every level of football.
Recently, receivers have been in the spotlight for record contracts and plenty of exposure, and while many coaches see defensive backs as some of their best athletes, it’s the receivers who are gaining popularity and taking center stage – like the Rams’ Cooper Kupp did in the Super Bowl.
Here is a look at some of the receivers who we had the chance to watch in Naples:
2023
Jeremiah Gines Jeremiah Gines 5'10" | 185 lbs | WR Durant | 2023 FL , 5-10, 175, Plant City Durant. This is a versatile football player who combines speed, skill and athleticism. Watch him perform and you can see why so many are impressed at what he does. Coaches at the event were really impressed by his route running and the way he tested. Prospects like this are always trying to get better – and coming nearly four hours to compete on a Sunday will show you just why he is primed for his final season at the high school level.

Kevin Liriano, Wellington. For this young man, attending the event was certainly something that helped him with exposure and gave him a jump on spring. With solid testing numbers, the order of the day was to improve and get everything out of the showcase.
Jaquan May, Deltona Pine Ridge. A truly versatile football player who can perform on both sides of the ball – and do it very well. Outstanding balls skills – a big play performer. His 4.68 (40) and positive results in the Shuttle Drill and Broad Jump also showed that he is a quality tester as well.

Devin Simmons, 6-4, 175, Palm Beach Gardens. After performing the day before at another showcase, this was someone that many were anxious to watch – and he did not disappoint. There is so much to like about his tall and athletic receiver, who tested well and will always bring his best to anything that he is part of. Put up some solid numbers in the testing phase. His is a West Palm Beach Cardinal Newman transfer.

2025
Bo Brooke, WR, Fort Myers Bishop Verot. Another young prospect who benefited from attending last Sunday. Just the things that he picked up will go a long way this spring and into the summer as he looks to start impressing his coaches and then start to think about colleges.
Gerald Lawton III Gerald Lawton III 5'9" | 160 lbs | WR Vanguard | 2025 FL , WR, 5-8, 150, Belleview. With all the impressive talent at the event, this is someone who caught the attention of everyone – a and while he didn’t get the hype coming in, coaches and fellow campers talked about his standout. Outstanding hands, solid route runner and a gift of turning on speed when he needed to. There is a lot to like with this rising sophomore. He was also impressive in his testing.

Joshua Robinson Joshua Robinson 5'7" | 150 lbs | WR Calvary Christian | 2025 FL (WR, 5-7, Clearwater Calvary Christian). While this is a very talented football player, he is a physical “freak” with speed, agility and a knack of making things happen because he is extremely gifted. Testing, drills and every phase of the showcase, this was indeed a player who turned heads. We will keep our eye on his progress over the next few years. He is only going to get better on the football field.

Dominic Torres, WR, Fort Myers Bishop Verot. Even though he is young and has been to very few events, you had to like what you saw from this young man. Not afraid to mix it up, tested well and had a few people watching him through all the phases of the showcase. It’s tough to make an impact against seasoned varsity performers, but he will get his opportunity over the next three years.
