DEFENSE
Kilohana Wailehug 6-0 185 WLB 23’ North Medford–– He doesn’t necessarily have the name recognition, but Wailehua showed up big as a junior being listed among the state statistical leaders at the 6A level. He finished the year with a very impressive 78 total tackles and 10 tackles for loss.
Eli Jacobs 6-2 175 DB 23’ Roseburg- Another kid who has gone somewhat under thew radar, but has a stock that is rising quickly. He led the SWC in INTs as a Junior and is a long and physical presence in the secondary.
Sylus Worthington 6-4 240 DL 23’ Newberg- From a projection standpoint this will be an interesting kid to watch as the size speaks for itself. The Tigers program has drastically improved over the last few seasons, with big all conference returners like Worthington in the mix.
Quinn O’Connor 5-10 180 WLB 23’ Mountainside- O’Connor grabbed 3rd team all-Metro honors as a junior on D and also had some impressive moments on offense. He is undersized as a backer but legit as an overall athlete.
Nick Gribble 6-1 195 WLB/SS 23’ Sherwood- The Bowmen return a host of talented athletes with Gribble being one of the kids who will contribute on both sides of the football. He earned honorable mention honors on D with 18 tackles, while also averaging 22 yards per catch from his RB spot.
Gabe Tammad Gabe Tammad 6'1" | 220 lbs | DL Sandy | 2024 State OR 6-1 220 LB/OL 23’ Sandy- Tammad racked up all conference honors as part of the O line, but projects on D where he possesses legit size at the LB position. He will be a leader for the Pio’s.
Sione Ngalu Sione Ngalu 6'0" | 220 lbs | DL Reynolds | 2024 OR 6-0 240 DL 24’ Reynolds-As a sophomore Ngalu averaged 4 tackles per game earning honorable mention all-conference honors. You can expect him to be one of the Mt Hood’s top lineman in the years ahead. The Raiders will need his leadership.
Dylan Espinosa 6-1 210 LB 23’ South Medford- South got better as the season progressed last year with kids like Espinosa helping to making a statement on D. He has good size and earned honorable mention all SWC honors on the year.
Ethan Wedel 5-8 175 WLB/ATH 23’ Century- Wedel is a good looking athlete and plays much bigger than he is. He stood out as a junior making 66 total tackles, with 4 tackles for loss on the season for the Jaguars. Statistically he was one of the best in the conference.
