Charles Williams Charles Williams 6'1" | 170 lbs | RB Marin Catholic | 2024 State CA , Marin Catholic HS 2024
Williams is one of the most explosive backs across all of northern California, regardless of class. He is coming off a big-time Sophomore season where he helped lead Marin Catholic to a State Championship winning season. Out of the backfield, he is very explosive through the first level and patiently waits for his block to develop before sticking his toe in the ground and getting vertical in a hurry. In the open field he shows third level speed and has another gear to pull away from defenders. He is extremely tough to tackle in-between the tackles while showing natural forward lean and good leg drive-through contact. He recently picked up his first offer from SJSU and other FBS schools should follow with offers sooner rather than later. He is in line for a huge 2022 season.
OL Mac Dorward, Marin Catholic HS 2023
Dorward recently picked up his first offer from Davidson and is one of the top offensive lineman the Bay Area has to offer in the 2023 class. He is a true mauler in the trenches that has good size and strength at the point of attack. He is a downhill phone booth blocker that can finish at the first level and plays with an edge and good toughness. He shows the ability to bend and get underneath interior lineman while keeping a strong base and is able to pull quickly without false steps if needed. In pass protection, he is not passive but looks for work up the middle and performs well timed punches against power pass rushers. With his natural size, strength and athleticism, he should draw significant Big Sky and even Mountain West interest.
DE Charlie Seymour, Marin Catholic HS 2024
Seymour is one of the more under recruited kids across the bay area and is coming off a solid 2021 season rushing the passer for Marin Catholic. He has a long frame and good length while covering a ton of ground off the edge and is extremely athletic for size. Able to put his hand in the dirt and play tough against the run while holding gap responsibilities, he excels coming off the edge due to being a natural pass rusher and showing a quick use of hands, fluid hips and a relentless motor while showing strong closing speed and collapsing the pocket quickly. He is a very physical kid and an intriguing prospect as he holds tons of untapped potential at the next level and will be a top Norcal player to watch in the 2024 class.
WR Miles Grossman, Redwood HS 2023
Grossman is a very fluid athlete from the outside receiver position and definitely has a future at some level of college football. He has strong hands with the ability to make contested catches in traffic while a very tough runner in the open field and easily breaks arm and ankle tackles. He is explosive in the short area and tracks the ball will downfield and is able to create separation in man coverage.
QB Braden Young, Tamalpais HS 2024
Young is one of the more intriguing 2024 quarterbacks across the bay area and had a solid 2021 campaign for the Hawks. He can throw on the run while scanning the field well downfield and is not afraid to check it down when needed. As he progresses through high school he will only continue to develop his arm and release and will be a big part of the 2022 success for a up and coming team in Tamalpais.
LB Will Clemens, Marin Catholic HS 2023
Clemens just picked up his first offer from College of Idaho and is a big time hitter from the second level and is one of the best defenders across all of Norcal. On tape, he shows he can be a downhill thumper and get off blocks violently while quickly diagnosing plays and triggering in a hurry. He brings a nice thump upon contact and can track down ball carriers outside the tackles while taking good angles in the open field. Also able to apply pressure up the middle with well timed pressures, he is a versatile defender that should fit nicely at inside linebacker in college.
ATH Nathan Karpay-Brody, Archie Williams HS 2023
The 2023 prospect is a big time two-way player for Archie Williams and is a very intriguing prospect due to his position versatility and explosive playmaking abilities. He is a natural path catcher out of the backfield and when in the slot while also able to run in between the tackles and take direct snaps. He shows good initial acceleration through the first level with strong contact balance and can hit a third gear in the open field. Having a strong build, he wins jump balls and can stretch the field while very impressive after the catch showing some twitch and short area quickness.
