Tyson Ruffins Tyson Ruffins 6'2" | 305 lbs | OL Long Beach Poly | 2023 State CA , 2023, Long Beach Poly
Ruffins was voted OL MVP of the camp and came in as the highest recruited player in the event with 14 total offers from a variety of FBS and FCS programs. He was dominate throughout the day especially in one on one’s where I didn’t see him lose a rep. At 6’3” 305 lbs. he possesses a solid and well-balanced frame to effectively play Center or Guard at the D1 level. He’s quick and aggressive coming out of his stance with a flat back and active hands. Strong at the POA he’s heavy handed and packs a powerful initial punch to gain leverage on opponents. He stays balanced through contact with quick feet and good lateral mobility to sustain and stay in front of his blocks. He’s a plus athlete that is also a technician with his footwork and hand usage/placement. Expect his recruiting stock to continue to rise and more offers to roll in as he’s able to showcase his talent going into his senior season.
Ethan Elder Ethan Elder 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Casa Robles | 2024 State CA , 2024, Casa Robles
Elder was impressive throughout the day. At 6’4” 280 lbs. with great upper body strength he’s shown solid year over year improvement both in his mobility and technique. In individual drills, he showed active and efficient footwork with sound hand usage and placement. He displayed a good ability to accelerate his feet and explode his hips through contact at the POA. He excelled in the one on one competition where he could show off his finishing ability, he’s violent from his initial punch through the whistle and was able to use his size and strength to overpower opponents. With his combination of size, strength, and natural ability he should see his recruiting stock on the rise as he continues to develop entering his junior year.
Ethan Dasmann, 2024, Oak Ridge
Dasmann checks a lot of boxes with his skillset and ideal size, length, and frame at 6’4” 265 lbs. Good weight distribution and growth potential as he continues to develop and mature. A plus athlete that shows good bend and lateral mobility to match defenders movement and maintain positional leverage. He flashes active hands out of his stance, snapping them into position with a strong inside punch at the defenders chest. He gets good extension and shows the ability to control defenders with his hands alone. At the POA, he stays balanced and under control through contact maintaining his base/leverage. Good patience, footwork, and hands in pass protection. Great upside and potential whose recruiting could take off once he gets strong varsity film.
