Continue ReadingWith spring football in full swing, programs are getting an early idea of what it is their team may look like come the fall. Players are getting an idea of what is working for them as far as their training and diets are concerned. At the same time, new and veteran coaches are figuring out what may or may not be working for them. Whether it is the drills they do, or the scrimmage games played coaches and players are fine tuning their games on the regular. In this series I will be covering as many schools as I can, from as many different classes as I can. ln my third article of this series we will take a look at the class 7A Fayetteville Bulldogs.
Drake Lindsey Drake Lindsey 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Fayetteville | 2024 State AR #15
QB
Drake Lindsey Drake Lindsey 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Fayetteville | 2024 State AR looks to continue to build his game next season. Lindsey has the arm talent, and the weapons to take some major steps forward. At 6’3″180lbs, he stands tall in the pocket and lets the play develop. Drake has that big arm you love to see, keeping defenses on their heels never knowing when that big play will come. As well, he has the ability to use his legs to get himself out of trouble. Lindsey will no doubt continue to take strides not only as a player, but a leader on this Bulldog football team.
Landon Lucke #16
WR
Landon is a multi-tool offensive weapon for the Bulldogs. At 5’11″ 170lbs, Lucke is quick right out of the gate. He is a solid route runner, he has good hands, and top end speed second to none. With those tools Lucke could be used in so many different ways, running game or passing game. He is the kind of player that all coaches would love to have, and Fayetteville is very happy Lucke is on their side. Look for the Bulldogs to get a little creative with Landon this 2022 season.
Philip Kilambi #40
MLB
Watching Philip’s film was an absolute joy for me. He reminds me of watching those nature videos on wolverines, except in the form of a Bulldog. Kilambi is relentless when chasing after the ball, he has a motor that does not quit. At 5’10″ 145lbs, Philip has solid pre snap vision, good decision making, and is a dynamite tackler. I would love to see him continue to build off of his game and help lead this Bulldog defense next season. The Bulldogs are very happy he is their side of the line of scrimmage.
Noah Janski Noah Janski 5'11" | 175 lbs | LB Fayetteville | 2024 State AR #19
OLB
Another young man who put together impressive film is Noah Janski Noah Janski 5'11" | 175 lbs | LB Fayetteville | 2024 State AR . He is a playmaking machine that loves the big hit. Noah is dangerous when blitzing and is an overall disruption for opposing offenses. Janski is a 5’11″ 170lb outside linebacker that has a tendency of making quick decisions that put him in good position to make plays. The tandem of Janski and Kilambi in the Bulldogs linebacking core is something that opposing teams are definitely going to have to account for. Noah and this Bulldog defense look to be a wrecking crew this fall.
