PRZ Next Northeast Showcase: Wide Out All-Showcase Second Team
In this article:
The Prep Redzone Next Northeast showcase popped off this past weekend, with athletes from 10 different states taking part. Athletes from as far away as Texas traveled to compete with, and against, many of the top 2026-2028 prospects in the region. Here’s a look at the Wide Receivers who were named to the All-Showcase Second Team.
Christian Rust Christian Rust 5'11" | 145 lbs | WR FL | Florida | 2027
Rust looked like a solid option as a slot receiver during the showcase. Liked his quick first few steps as he get into his route. Dependable hands and played with swagger. Moving from Rhode Island to Florida this upcoming season. Will be interesting to see how he steps up in a true football hot bed.
Will Andrade Will Andrade 5'9" | 160 lbs | RB Monsignor Farrell | 2026 NY | New Jersey | 2026
There’s just something about this kid that I can’t shake. He doesn’t have ideal size or speed, but he just makes play after play. Took reps at Wide Receiver for bulk of the day. Also mixed in some Defensive Back and Linebacker work. Aggressive, tough, gutsy player that I’d take on my team any day.
Trey McFadden Trey McFadden 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Montgomery | 2026 NJ | New Jersey | 2026
Nothing too flashy about McFadden, but talking to the other scouts, he just seemed to always do something positive and noteworthy on each rep. Pretty good size at nearly 6-foot and 153 pounds. Must improve his top-end speed going forward, to make the most of his ability.
Aiden Acevedo | New York | 2026
Despite getting sick and having to leave the showcase early, Acevedo showed why he is one of the top 2026 Wide Receivers coming out of New York. Obviously has some sharpening of his skills to do, but he ran a 4.9 in the 40-yard dash. He will be at Saint Joseph Regional (Montvale) for high school.
Gianni Pasqualone | New York | 2026
Recently announcing he’ll be attending Tottenville High School in the fall, Pasqualone will be a welcomed addition to a program that went 9-3 a year ago. Very good kid who worked his tail off at the showcase. Needs to grow before Varisty play, but he can fly. Ran an identical 4.88 in the 40-yard dash.
Amiir Woodward | New Jersey | 2028
Just a sixth grader, Woodward was impressive. Naturally he took some lumps going up against some of the older and bigger kids, but he competed. At grade level he was arguably the best at the Showcase. Really impressive length and speed. Was 5-foot-7, 126-pounds and ran a 5.07 in the 40-yard dash.
