Most high school prospecting and scouting platforms have not taken much time to dive into the 2026 class yet. To be fair, no major college has taken the time to do so either, with the exception of a few offers from some of the nations top, young players. Because this class is so young, and is very unmined when it comes to talent, we wanted to take some time to get ahead of things, especially for some of the more talented players in the state of Georgia- which always tends to reveal talent very early on, regardless of age. Below, we have listed some of our favorite players from the 2026 class who we feel have already gotten their name out to high school football, and recruiting fans. [player_tooltip player_id="283774" first="Aaron" last="Gregory"] (WR)- Augusta Christian One of the things that stands out most about Gregory is his long, and strong body and frame. This makes him an efficient player on both offense, and defense. On offense, he’s a very explosive receiver, as he is able to high point the football, and make good plays after the catch. Gregory also runs smooth routes, and catches the football with clean hands, no matter where he is on the field. He also stacks defenders very well, and he uses his size and frame to his advantage when running routes. Even though Gregory is a great receiver, we also see talent in his ability to play defense. He moves very fluidly, and gets out of his breaks efficiently, which will more than likely take him to the next level whenever he gets older. [player_tooltip player_id="206164" first="Julian" last="Lewis"] (QB)- Pace Middle There are plenty of things to like about Lewis’ game, in which plenty of high school coaches, and college coaches alike, have also taken notice. He already performs at a very high level, and he has seemed to be very advanced in his footwork, release, decision-making, vision of the field, an overall arm talent and strength. To start, not only does he see the field very well, but he distributes the ball in a timely manner, with accuracy to the intended receiver. Lewis has a good touch on the ball, and he layers his passes extremely well, at various levels of the field. He also plays with good footwork, as it is not choppy, and it contributes to his overall throwing mechanics, and stance in a positive way. Lewis also throws with good velocity, and he manages to place the ball into tight windows, which is impressive for his age. Look for him to take off next season, and for college coaches to gain even more attention than they may have already had. [player_tooltip player_id="212309" first="Tayshaun" last="Franklin"] (WR)- Ware County Middle Franklin may not be the biggest player, but he has great length, and decent speed when running routes. We also like the way that he changes direction on his routes, and is able to explode after the catch. This helps Franklin to gain efficient yards, and to be able to make big plays with the ball in his hands. With this, he also catches the ball cleanly and gets in and out of his breaks well. Franklin also has work to do when it comes to physicality, but we see plenty of upside in this area moving forward. If he continues to use to his size, and frame to his advantage, he may see plenty of success at the wide receiver position at a young age. [player_tooltip player_id="240838" first="Chap" last="Chapman"] (QB)- Oconee Middle We are very impressed because at a young age, Chapman already displays plenty of tools to be a successful quarterback when he enters into the high school level of play. Not only does he get the ball out quickly, but he has decent arm strength at every level of the field. Not only does Chapman layer the football well, but he also has a very good touch on the ball when it comes to deep and intermediate routes. Chapman also tends to see the field very well, and has good timing on some of his throws. While his footwork is a bit choppy, his upper body stature, mechanics, and release tend to be polished for his age. Overall, we see plenty of developmental talent in him moving forward, and we think that as he adds on to his frame, and football intelligence, he will only continue to get better, and more efficient at distributing the ball. Look for him to continue to develop in the way he throws higher level passes, as this will take him to the next level.
