John Mark Shaw John Mark Shaw 6'5" | 205 lbs | QB Leesville Road | 2023 State NC , 6’5″ 205, (No. 33 Overall/No. 3 QB), Leesville Road HS. John is a great arm talent who throws accurately out of the pocket and on the run. He displayed good foot speed for his size and runs well in the open field. John remains calm under pressure in the pocket to complete the pass. John transferred to a new school and was injured during the regular season. He started four games during the state playoffs. John has 3,027 passing yards and 30 passing TDs for his high school career, while completing 62% of his passes. John will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training and participation in Summer Prospect Camps as he prepares for a big season in the Fall.
William (Trey) Thompson William (Trey) Thompson 6'0" | 190 lbs | RB Watauga | 2023 State NC , 6’0″ 190, (No. 31 Overall/No. 7 RB), Watauga HS. Trey has stepped up his performance since the Spring Season. It is a plus for him standing up coming out of the backfield and accelerating into the open lanes at full speed. Trey ran with power and speed while following his blockers gaining tough yardage. He displayed the speed and quickness to get around the corner to gain yardage on the sweep plays. Trey displayed good hands on the pass plays and ability to gain yardage after the catch. Trey was a triple threat at running back while displaying the ability to consistently run between the tackles, the speed to get around the corner, and good hands-on pass plays. He finished the last season with 947 All-Purpose yards and 7 TDs. Trey will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training and participation in Summer Prospect Camps as he prepares for a big season in the Fall.
McCallum Wright McCallum Wright 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR Broughton | 2023 State NC , 6’2″ 180, (No. 49 Overall/No. 8 WR), Broughton HS. McCallum displayed ability to separate from defender to make the catch while running pass route. He does a great job of using his body to shield defender to make catches in traffic. McCallum has good foot speed and accelerates past defenders in the open field to gain yardage. He finished the season with 885 receiving yards and 6 receiving TDs for a 16.7 receiving yards per catch average. McCallum will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training and participation in Summer Prospect Camps as he prepares for a big season in the Fall.
Brock Chappell Brock Chappell 6'6" | 245 lbs | TE Cardinal Gibbons | 2023 State NC , 6’5″ 230, (No. 108 Overall/No. 4 TE), Cardinal Gibbons HS. Brock displayed good footwork and technique on blocking defenders to open lanes for the running backs. He displayed quickness and speed to cover ground quickly to take on defensive ends and linebackers, blocking them out of the play. He runs good pass routes and uses his body to shield defenders to make the catch. Brock will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training and participation in Summer Prospect Camps as he prepares for a big season in the Fall.
Cam Long Cam Long 6'4" | 325 lbs | OL East Wake | 2023 State NC , 6’4″ 330, (No. 197 Overall/No. 23 OL), East Wake HS. Cam displayed good footwork and technique while participating in the drills. He displayed good balance and upper body strength to manhandle defenders during the one-on-one drills, often drive-blocking defender to the ground. The huge lineman displayed good mobility while participating in the drills. He is expected to anchor the offensive line during the upcoming season after missing last season due to a shoulder injury. Cam will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training and participation in Summer Prospect Camps as he prepares for a big season in the Fall.
