Matt Preddice Matt Preddice 6'4" | 230 lbs | DL Heritage | 2023 FL , 6’4″ 230, (No. 50 Overall/No. 9 DL), Heritage HS. Matt displayed good technique and use of hands to control blockers and quickly stop the play. He is quick out of his stance to make contact with blockers and stop the play. Matt finished the season with 30 total tackles, 4 tackles were for losses. He has improved his speed while working on speed drills during the off-season. The results of the speed work training resulted in him running a 4.5 40 at a recent camp. Matt will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training and participation in Summer Prospect Camps as he prepares for a big season in the Fall. Matt will finish his HS career at IMG Academy in Florida.
Isreal Terry Isreal Terry 5'10" | 180 lbs | DB Vance Co. | 2023 State NC , 5’10″ 180, (No. 104 Overall/No. 11 DB), Vance County HS. Isreal displayed quick reaction to the ball and speed to close in on the ball carrier for the stop. He displayed good technique and lateral movement to cover the wide receivers, breaking up passes often. He is a technique sound defensive back who makes solid tackles in the open field. He finished the season with 31 total tackles, 1 tackle was for a loss, and 2 interceptions. Isreal will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training and participation in Summer Prospect Camps as he prepares for a big season in the Fall. He recently ran a 4.53 40-yard run with a sprained hamstring at a UNC Prospect Camp.
Chase Christopher Chase Christopher 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB Holly Springs | 2023 State NC , 6’1″ 220, (No. 109 Overall/No. 13 LB), Holly Springs HS. Chase displayed explosive acceleration to get him into the backfield, often unblocked to make the stop. He displayed solid technique on physical tackles and follow through. He runs well in the open field covering a lot of ground quickly to close in on the ball carrier for the stop. Chase finished the season with 150 total tackles, to include 127 solo tackles and 23 assisted tackles, 10 sacks, and 21 tackles for losses. The 127 Solo Tackles were the highest of any player in the 2023 class. Chase will continue to improve his skill set during off-season training and participation in Summer Prospect Camps as he prepares for a big season in the Fall.
David Santiago, 6’3″ 230, (No. 84 Overall/No. 9 ATH), Millbrook HS. David runs good pass routes and separation from defenders to make catches as a Tight End. He does a good job of using his body to shield defenders to make catches in traffic. David displayed quickness out of his stance to make stops from the Defensive End position. He displayed good technique and athleticism while playing multiple positions for his team. He finished the season with 50 total tackles, 14 tackles were for losses. David will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training and participation in Summer Prospect Camps as he prepares for a big season in the Fall.
