There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Brooks Bentley– Venice High c/o 23
6’2 195lbs
Bentley transferred to Venice High School this offseason from Gaither High. Last season he passed for 1893 yards, completing 67% of his passes, and throwing 15 touchdowns. He also added 280 yards rushing, averaged 6.5 yards per carry and 3 touchdowns on the ground.
Strengths:
- Sound mechanics and footwork
- Accuracy on deep and intermediate throws
- Smart quarterback that processes coverages and knows where to attack defenses.

Evan Burger- North Port High c/o 24
5’10 165lbs
Burger is a sophomore quarterback at North Port that looks to have a big season in 2022 for the Bobcats. He had a strong spring camp and was offensive player of the game in spring game. He’s an outstanding student with a 4.0 GPA. He could be one of the surprise players in a tough District.
Strengths:
- Escapability in the pocket
- Ball placement

Jeremiah Dawson– Sarasota Riverview High c/o 24
6’5 210lbs
Dawson is a big time sophomore prospect that transferred into Riverview last season right before the season started. He takes over for the Rams this season and looks to be a quarterback the teams need to take notice of. He had a strong spring camp and spring game throwing three touchdowns. He has prototype size and intangibles you’re looking for as a prospect for the next level. He’s also an outstanding student with a 4.0 GPA.
Strengths:
- Arm strength to make every throw on the field
- Quick release
- Really good job climbing the pocket

Alexander Diaz- Sarasota High c/o 25
Diaz is a quarterback who’s stock is on the rise. He had an outstanding spring camp and spring game and looks to be a player colleges are taking notice of immediately. This district is full of young quarterback prospects and Diaz is one who really stands out. He picked up his first D1 offer from UT-Martin in June.
Strengths:
- Touch and accuracy
- Arm talent is evident on film
- Sound mechanics
