At Gaffney, the defending state 5A champions return their starter in Grayson Loftis Grayson Loftis 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Gaffney | 2023 State SC . With a big arm and great instincts, Loftis will look to be even better than last year, when his 2,398 yards and 24 TDs helped lead the Indians. The bulk of Gaffney’s running game is gone, and more will be expected of the Duke commit.
Spartanburg’s Raheim Jeter Raheim Jeter 6'3" | 220 lbs | QB Spartanburg | 2023 State SC helped lead the Vikings to the 5A Upper State title game. The West Virginia commit can make every throw, is dangerous on the run, and has a great rapport with a number of receivers. This summer, he’s already led the Vikings to a couple of wins in marquee 7-on-7 events.

Colby Shaw has emerged as a leader at Byrnes, directing the Rebels to the championship at the Justin Bethel 7-on-7 event. Dorman, under new head coach Dustin Curtis, has a battle with Hudson Talley and David Sorenson. Boiling Springs’ new head coach Matt Reel is evaluating Lincoln Huskey and Zy Landrum.
